Never again! We booked here to spend the weekend relaxing with our teenage kids and fish all weekend. Campground tried to charge us $30 per kayak to use the lake. This fee was never mentioned on phone, in confirmation email or in paperwork. We did not budget that expense so we could not utilize lake and my kids were bummed. The campground is filled with long term campers and the fields were used as parking lots due to so many guests. There is a large group of teenagers that walk around all day and night that curse and make comments to campers. My kids did not want to use amenities due to this. Our campsite was next to an old moldy, run down camper and on the other side parked cars. We listened to dogs bark and yelp all day and night. We left early and did not complete our stay. Do not recommend.

Friendly staff, clean facilities, and many activities for kids and adults. Check-in was easy. The lake is beautiful and most sites are tree-covered and private. Pets are allowed in the cabins (a huge plus). We stayed in a rustic cabin and it was perfect, with an individual water spigot (no sharing!). The store is well stocked (ice cream and coffee were a bonus!). Crowds make me uncomfortable, so I actually appreciate the no visitors rule. Some cabins are very close together and between RVs (I'm glad ours wasn't). Our favorite campground closed down last year but we’ve found our new yearly family campground!

Panther Lake Camping Resort is truly a gem for anyone who enjoys the outdoors but still appreciates comfort and convenience. The grounds are well-maintained, with plenty of space for both RVs and tents, and the sites feel private while still being part of a friendly community atmosphere. The lake itself is beautiful—perfect for swimming, kayaking, or just sitting back and relaxing with a view. The amenities are top-notch for a campground, with clean restrooms, well-kept showers, and plenty of recreational options like mini golf, a pool, and organized activities for families. What really sets Panther Lake apart is how family-friendly it is. Kids have endless things to do, and adults can either join in the fun or simply enjoy some peace and quiet by the water. The staff is welcoming and attentive, making sure everyone has a good experience. If you’re looking for a balance between rustic camping and resort-style comfort, Panther Lake delivers in every way. It’s the kind of place you visit once and immediately start planning your next trip back.

This is a lovely campground and it is always well maintained with the grass usually cut fairly well. Every worker I’ve interacted with has been a kindred soul. The workers at the gate are incredible and they’re always ready to get people with reservations inside. I have yet to have a bad experience and not only are workers but people in general are very nice there. Would recommend.

I went with family. 4 adults 1 child. We loved it for the get go. The ladies at the camp store were always happy AND happy to help. Whenever i walked in they were helping someone cracking jokes, listening being patient or whatever was needed by the customer. The cabin was amazing, well kept ( found some spider webs), but otherwise clean and cozy. The beds were hard but not uncomfortable. My brother in law suffers from back pain and slept comfortably. The other campers were sweet adding to the atmosphere a sense of community. It was peaceful. My daughter made many friends. Sadly im horrible with names so did not get the ladies from the camp store but two gentlemen came to my rescue. George or (Jorge) and Danny. I dropped some things in the slit of the porch. I stopped one of the workers (Jorge) and he told me he'd return and he did and brought a friend (Danny). Jorge went under the porch and Danny cracked the jokes. Overall a great vibe and an awesome experience. Budget wise not horrible about $200 a weekend per adult ( four of us) The theme was christmas in july so that was fun, the pool, the lake (beach) so much to see and explore! Hope to be back next year! The only downside is that instead of a deposit its 100% payment upfront at time of reservation. Which wont be reunded at all after a cut off date. Which can be off putting specially if youve never been before. But again, glad we went with it.

Excellent place to stay for a weekend or the whole season! The entire staff is very friendly and nice! The campground is well maintained and family/pet friendly! They have very friendly security driving around at night, which makes it feel even more safe.

Hadn't been there in 15+ yrs. It was very nice then and many nice upgrades now. The ladies at the office were exceptional. This is a campground, not a hotel.

This place is wonderful! We have a popup, but we decided to rent a premiere cabin. I enjoyed my stay so much that I'd almost like to leave out some criticism, but I won't because that's important too. For a whole 24 hours, the running water smelled like sulfur. It could be because the water hadn't been used much prior to us arriving. If you're an avid camper, you've probably experienced this at some point. There was also a serious carpenter bee issue on the cabin porch. I personally don't mind them. However, my husband is allergic to bees, so he was uneasy. Unfortunately, inside the cabin, there were two hornets 24 hours apart. My husband did get stung & he treated himself with medication. Now the reason I give it 5 stars: 1) They are super dog friendly. We normally have to board our dog, this time he could come with us! We had no problem walking him all around the campground & on the hiking trail. There were quite a few campers who let their dogs off leash at their cabin. Which is not ideal and should be enforced more. 2) The location is beautiful! I hope I can upload some pics. 3) the staff is friendly and attentive. 4) Tons of fun activities for the kids! They had a candy bag flashlight hunt for the kids the last night I was there, & my daughter was so excited to participate. Overall, it's a great spot & we'll be going back.

Located in Andover New Jersey this is a lovely campground . Beautiful grounds . Panther lake is absolutely beautiful . The beach area here is clean and kept very neatly . The office staff was amazing as well . They have Mini golf a basketball court basketball canoes a pool they have it all . It’s a kids playground and a parents relaxation time . There are no rooms located at this campground only cabins and campers are there . If you get the chance to camp here do so you won’t regret it . Edit to my prior review ; My daughter and her spouse and baby 1.5 yrs of age came to visit us for 6days and I informed the office so that I could pay whatever fee needed . Now remind you they weren’t staying with us they have a hotel room so for them to just get a gate code to get in and out with was 120.00 for 6 days . The employees said “ Well they are able to use our amenities at the campground such as paddle boats (water is cold ) or play tennis and golf ..Needless to say we can’t do any of those with a 1.5yr old but the playground .i just think that 120.00 for 6days for my child to drive in and out of here to visit us daily is a little steep of a price .it even almost feels greedy to me .

Came here for a quick 3-night end of camping season trip last week and basically haven't left yet. We absolutely love this place! Since we arrived we've found the office staff to be extremely friendly and accommodating. Love that there's the option for a golf cart rental, as the property is much larger than we first expected, and beautifully cut into the rolling hills. The grounds are nicely maintained and we frequently see maintenance workers about. It was almost a no-brainer - we decided on becoming seasonals & are already counting down for opening day next year. Can't wait to come back!

This is a great campground to visit. They have seasonal people that come back year after year; they have their own trailers that they keep there. They have all kinds of things to do. Today was their Halloween. All the kids were trick or treating. Great costumes, the kids had a blast and got lots of candy. Great weekend getaway. You can bring a pop up, trailer, tent or rent a cabin. They have a pavilion where they do things w the people at the camp ground. Lots to do at the campground and around the campground.

Very disappointed at the appearance of the campground. Looks more like a mobile home park with parking spaces to rent. Lots of seasonal stuff some well kept some not so well kept. Site we were in mostly gravel with spots of weedy grass. Sewer sink in an awkward angle. Charged for a 50-amp service and told we would need an adapter to convert to 30 amp. No problem buying a converter. Should have one with us. But… site had 30 amp service as well so why charged more. Didn’t appreciate the argument between possibly seasonal where one threatened to shoot the other and the second one says my gun is bigger than yours and went inside and brought out his shotgun. Guns at a campground?? Really?? Not a great feeling of safety for sure. Beach sand was very dirty. Didn’t look like any beach I’d want my bare feet to touch. Glad we didn’t bring our kayaks. They charge $20 to bring your own. Reason? They lose out on renting them. Not a place I’d go back to at $150 for the weekend Appreciate your response. And after talking to a staff member yesterday you are correct in that nothing was reported while we were there. There was no “claim to have witnessed” It happened. Retribution for reporting? Wouldn’t take that chance. Your website wasn’t very clear on rates. We knew we were being charged for 50 amp but were told that was only thing available. My reason for mentioning it was that the pedestal had both which wasn’t mentioned. As I told the staff member yesterday maybe your website should be updated to reflect that. Thank you for having an opening on short notice. Have a nice day.

I’ve been camping here for God knows how long prior to the new owners showing up and I gotta say, it’s pretty nice for a place where you can enjoy yourself and relax. Although the lake is a little dirty, I barely swim in it anyway. The hot tub is nice, the pool is alright but it can use some improvement with the cleanliness. Overall, if you’re looking for a place to camp in, this one is the best one as someone who has been camping here for at least ten years. Overall, it’s a nice place to enjoy nature.
