Wonderful experience. This is the second time we have posted this resort. Previous time was 4 years ago. We travel from New Mexico to vacation here. The kids play area was great with lots of activities from sand play, to checkers, bean bag toss. Very safe and secure place for kids to ride bikes and scooters on their own. Great amenities including pool, beach house, and onsite laundry. We will definitely be back again.

Only stayed 1 night while in town but it was a very nice stay! Really nice how they had a path to walk to the beach. While the train tracks are nearby, it did not bother us from our spot along the bamboo wall area. Clean bathrooms and nice pool area too. Was walking distance to several restaurants which was nice. The spots are very close together which is expected. You won’t get much privacy with the neighbors close as there aren’t any privacy walls in between sites. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Great location and amenities here! Some spots are a bit close together and dog park was a bit small but other than that we would come back. You can walk or ride bikes to several locations and staff is friendly and on it! Place is very clean and kept up.

My family and I spent about two months living out of our RV here. This is the finest RV resort we have ever stayed at. It is a warm and welcoming place, operated by a hardworking and kind family, and all the staff are friendly. Denise and the crew who oversee the front office provide clear communication, a hospitable spirit, and are always eager to help. Those who guide RVs, provide maintenance and cleaning are excellent at whatever they are doing while being great people that bring a smile and a gregarious spirit. The amenities are kept clean and in good condition. You are just a walk away from a park that is a blast for kids to play at while being a few steps from the beach. You are also within walking distance to markets, coffee shops, and excellent restaurants. The front office is a great place to congregate with others or do work. Between games at the front office, the pool, and the "pirate cove" there is plenty to keep your kids productive beyond the nearby park. The overall feeling is relaxing, and they keep the place as quiet for a place frequented by the precious sounds of children and dogs. There is 24/7 security, and the security patrols the park throughout the night. Staff is very communicative and when you arrive, someone will help assist you with where to park and guide you in if you are backing up. Whether you are wanting a weekend vacation or a place to stay long term, Paradise by the Sea is a delightful location with everything you need.

Beautiful very safe and family friendly location. Right off the beach. The trains never stop- that’s why I say 4 stars. The pool and hot tub were very clean and the laundry was as well. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Spots are tight and on top of each other which does promote a community feel. But the train noise is on top of you if you’re a light sleeper!

Just a cautionary tale when booking: pay the up charge to “lock” your site especially if you are camping with other people. The site lets you chose a site but that means nothing, the true cost per night is the cost of the site PLUS the up charge to lock the site. Otherwise, you get randomly assigned a site on the day of your arrival…Surprise. There is nothing you can do. They were kind enough to send me a photo of the parking lot view from Site 03, staff parking (lmao). The pads are pretty small as well so pay to pick your site and get a site in the 60’s, 70’s or 90’s. The pads are a bit larger.

Our first time camping in Paradise. Friendly staff from check-in to the gentleman who came out to light the fireplace. All around a very nice campground in a great location. Carlsbad Village was only 1.5 miles down the road. Easy beach access as well.

Enjoyed our two weeks here! The park is well maintained and close to the beach front. Good spot to walk north to the pier and south around the neighborhoods overlooking the ocean. Good coffee shops close by! Sites are very small and a bit cramped but pretty much to be expected in a popular urban location.

Amazing staff, well kept grounds and facilities. There is a lot of pride in this park and it shows. A few rules to follow but nothing major common sense will get you through and it’s about everyone having a good time. It’s pricey but that’s the location. We spent the winter here and it’s a place that will travel with me.

This place is very well maintained, beautiful and close to the beach. We definitely want to go back! We're from Wyoming but love the ocean!

We just departed after our 8th stay. Paradise by the Beach is a small but well run park that is clean with nice amenities. The staff are outstanding and I am very impressed with the after hours staff and their constant patrols. The prices are a little steep and sometimes it’s hard to get in but if you want a great getaway in a nice park this is the place! Bring your bicycles!

This is a lovely RV resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The grounds are kept immaculate. It was windy while during our stay and the leaves were swept at all times. No trash anywhere, the sand was swept off the streets. A lovely communal patio area with propane heaters both standing and table top. A short walk to the beach. A clean pool and hot tub. The only downside is the sites are small (narrow) for our 40’ coach with 4 slideouts. But all things considered I would come back here again and again.

Nice family park. Lots of kids running around everywhere. The Internet is OK. Full hook ups are nice. The train can be a little bothersome, depending on how close you are to the tracks. There is a nice big park adjacent to the RV park where your dogs can run around and a lot of people go from the surrounding area. The park staff was polite and helpful. My freshwater tank blew a line overnight and drained which they weren’t happy with but did not penalize me. Just a couple blocks away from the Beach! No dogs allowed at the beach.
