This was a nice place to stay...very friendly people.... but because of maintenance man throwing rocks on the sides of our motorhome and chipping our paint with the weed eater and my husband reported it we were asked not to return for the next year! According to the letter we were sent it was turned over to the insurance company and was denied....now we didn't expect them to file a claim .. mostly we wanted an apology for doing this especially when the man had been asked not to weed eat our site again after the first time he did it....how would they have responded if it was their vehicle?

Is a very quite park,people are very friendly. They have different activities weekly. They have Bingo on Monday and Friday. They have night security as well. Love the pool.

Parakeet purchased the South Gate Mobile Home Park in Cape Canaveral, FL this year. Issues with NO ONE in office. No one returns phone calls, no one to deal with issues of a receipt for water charges for food stamps or SSI that is needed .. I will be loosing my food stamps as well as my S S I benefits because no proof of water bill they just placed on lot rent. You can't run a Senior Mobile Home Park without no manager on board to assist what seniors need....

Great park new owners are doing lots of upgrades . Stayed for a week in a rv . Love to stay the season next year .

Parakeet Park is a little slice of heaven - we recently stayed a week and wish we could have stayed much longer. The owners (Mike and Lynn) some of the sweetest people we've bumped into on our trip - and the residents of the park are as well. Everyone is watching out for each other and there is a great feeling of community here. Highly recommended!
