We come here every year! It's just the perfect getaway for everyone in the family... their's a nice wide boardwalk it runs along the spectacular soft sandy beach! Tide goes way out in the Summer. Right next door is the best kids park and water park I've ever seen! Summer time their is an ice-cream stand that serves all sorts of flavors right on the property. Spots in Parksands resort are a great size. It's very clean and staff are friendly. Their's something for every to do here 🏖🛶.

We stayed at Park Sands in cabin 2 during a visit to the island. The cabin was extremely clean and well appointed with kitchen appliances and two bedrooms with comfortable beds and nice linens. Park Sands is close to the beach as well as a large park. Staff was very nice and accommodating with great communication during the rental process. We look forward to our next stay

My wife and I stayed at the resort with our RV. We were in site C02. Closest to ocean! Great boardwalk along the ocean. The site was paved and flat with full hook-ups. Very clean. Rest of site was grass. Good to set up gazebo tent if wanted. Automatic check-in. No office visit checking in or out! Due to weather we departed one day early on a 3 night stay. To our great surprise and pleasure when we got home we saw we had been e-mailed a gift certificate to visit for one night in the next year. VERY good customer service without even asking! A couple of photos below. The ocean looks much closer and panoramic than the photos. In the other direction, towards Parksville, there are about 3-4 blocks of stores, services, restaurants, fast food etc. about a 150 metre walk from our site. Great!

Loved ParkSands! We spent the month of August here and it was fantastic. The best part is the location of this resort. Not only is it mere steps to the beach, it is also very centrally located in downtown Parksville. The Tuesday night market is right across the street. We encountered a couple of minor issues and they were addressed promptly and courteously. We love it and can’t wait to come back next year. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay in one of the cabins. Very clean and spacious with everything you need. The park is quiet and of course the best thing is the beach is steps away. We lived walking when the tide was out or walking the beautiful boardwalk that follows the bay in front of Park Sands. Lots great day trips and we saw humpback whales and sea lions right in front of the park! 😎 Deb and Garry/DeWinton, AB

I would give even less than one star but was forced to. We booked in the summer of 2021. Had to cancel and did well within the requirements to get a refund. Left numerous telephone messages and emails and still have not been contacted to get my refund. This place is a joke. They have no office open EVER, the garbage wad heaping when we drove through to check out sites, and they NEVER return calls or emails. Truly SCAMMERS in every sense of the word. DO NO STAY HERE EVER!!!!

Fabulous location right at the beach, beside the park and in the center of town. Sites nearest to beach and boardwalk are large and lovely - everything else was awful! Stayed only one night. Can't rate washrooms and wifi because, despite asking repeatedly, I was never given the codes/password. Site was dirty and all garbage cans were overflowing.

Probably one of the worst campsites I have been in a long time… I used to come here every summer as a kid. Now as an adult with kids of my own I’ve decided to come back… it is not at all what it used to be. The customer service from start to finish was appalling. We had to call about 20 times to get through on the phone and asked them to send the reservation confirmation email over 3 different times. There is junk absolutely everywhere. Clearly people live here year round and have basically turned it into a scrap yard. The facilities are run down. Maintenance clearly is not a priority for them anymore. No toilet paper in any washroom. We had someone try and take our campsite during our stay. Our family was called names in front of our children when defending our spot. Security/operations did absolutely nothing. It’s a shame to see such a gem turn into such garbage.
