Post update August 2025: Since 2016 Parkwood RV Park has been a comfortable place. Amenities 5-10 min to all shopping, river walk, dog park, and farmers market, The Manager has always taken care of issues as quickly as his contractors are available. Parkwood gravel sites are priced below upgraded concrete sites. Overall no RV park in Lowndes County can beat Parkwood. Post update 2024: I have been here for the duration of my work assignment and have had no issues. In cold weather or a flood, the manager has always been attentive to the issues, and the few have been repaired. Upgrades seem to be every month. Spots have been maintained. Grounds and road upkeep have been professionally done. 2 laundry rooms. Fenced-in park, with walking areas. The creek passing through has a few small wildlife scenes to enjoy. What more can I ask for? No other park in Columbus or the surrounding areas can compare to Parkwoods RV Park's convenient location and security. While working contract or a week's excursion, overall it is a great place to stay. Previous post: This is by far the best, centrally located RV park to stay at. Safe location, it has wide lots with plenty of green grass between sites for the pets to play. Prices are great for daily, weekly, and monthly. Historic downtown is minutes away. Great owners, well maintained.

If I could get this place a negative star review I would! Hate to even give it a star. The owner is the rudest owner and individual I’ve ever had to deal with at a campground. He has cameras all over the park and can message you when he notices an extra vehicle at your lot(family or friend visiting) because he might miss out on an extra $25 but when your 10 year old sons bike get stolen, and then the alarm is triggered on your husbands truck…looking back at footage isn’t possible was his response. Vehicles are getting broke into, stuff stolen, and he doesn’t live in this state so he’s not very concerned with it as long as he gets his money! It’s also not in a very great part of town either. I would highly recommend looking at Mill Creek RV camp or Indian Mound Rv resort! Owners are fantastic and live here as well as keep it nice and actually care. Milk Creek also is gated with a gate code for entry which is very nice!

No site manager. Only amenities are weak WI-FI and coin laundry. Oh wait they offer concert pads as extra charge. If something like a water or electric problem happens it takes days if not weeks to fix.So keep your tanks full and batteries charged if you staying more than a night!

All RV parks should model themselves after this one. It's ran to perfection. With great WIFI. I wish it was nationwide. By far my favorites RV parks we have stayed at
