This is an old and run down campground ( if you can call it that) there are a lot of permanents. The staff is NOT FRIENDLY at all. My husband walked in the office on arrival and they didn’t even speak to him. He had to say I’m here to check in. I went to the so called store and the 2 working there could not have cared that I came in. Needless to say I wasn’t spending my money there. Very run down. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

I'm sorry to say this was the dirtiest place we have stayed at in the past 4 months...the area was beautiful with forest trees and lake...but there was not a site (empty or in use) that was not dirty with trash, broken car windows, garden hoses, broken chairs, and so much more that I can't list them all - and these items were in the general area we were camping at...that doesn't count the extremely large pile of TRASH at the entrance of the camp ground...I don't believe that anyone has cleaned the grounds all winter long...here's hoping that it's cleaned up for the summer campers

Well. The place was a mud hole. The grounds were poorly kept. The permanent sites were a dump. And to top it off. The pool was advertised to be open until 8. Tonight they chased us out at 7 even though they advertised a pool party at 8. It's boiling hot here and it's ridiculous that they closed this pool at 7. Very bad taste in my mouth for yogi campgrounds.

The Yogi park needs alot alot of work to it....roads, bathrooms, need more things to do for fun for the children, the cabins need fixing up. Yogi needs to visit more for the small children, the hay ride needs to be more often.

I've been coming here for about 7 years at different times of the year. The past 3 years no one's in the store/office to check you in or give you service if needed. The Tangipahoa river flooded the park and no one from the park alerted us of impending danger before the flood, on another visit they shut off the water for 6 days because of a two night freeze and again told no one before doing so in order to fill reserve tank and dump/flush blackwater. I don't recomend unless you need a place to crash for a night. Heaven forbid if something happens while you're there at night. You're on your own.
