Patagonia Lake

Overall a fun experience and we will be going back. There is no phone service in a lot of the park and their Wi-Fi is limited so plan accordingly. The park has two distinct sides. One is quieter (no wake zone and nice for birdwatching) and the other is busier and crowded and geared more toward the water activities. Dogs have to be on leashes. Bathrooms were clean and stocked.

We stayed on the East Side of the park because we wanted to be close to the lake. Only issue is the constant speeding within the park. This includes the employees on the Kabotas. Someone or something is going to get hit if this is not addressed.

One of the best parks we visited! Lots of cool birds and other wildlife! Trails are everywhere can be tricky with the terrain but so worth it.

Special shout out to the lady working the Visitor’s Center yesterday, 1/4/26. She was so helpful with hiking tips, and tracking down details for a return visit today. We had lovely hikes both days. A wonderful gem of a park!

Beautiful facilities. It was so clean and relaxing. I wish my boys were able to catch fish but the hours they were trying they never even got a bite. It is dog friendly and free of dog messes everywhere. This was one of the cleanest stste parks I have been to.

Great park/lake, very nice place to do all types of recreational and outdoor activities, everything is excellent (WiFi, Restrooms, etc).

Great park, spaces are large, lake is nice, water is perfect not to cold not to warm, close to Nogales , and Sonoita . Lots of shade trees. They now have floating toilets around the lake. There is also a cool bridge that crosses over the marina area which is lit up at night. Boats and floaty toys welcome, water is usually perfect for swimming. Sites are big and have plenty of privacy if you want to cut loose a little, plenty of trail and bird watching. There is a small store that has just about everything you might have forgotten. Fun place no judgement, let loose and have fun. Sad they had to raise the price to 50 it was a good deal at 35, not so much at 50.

Love this place but it's not taken care of and in disrepair. Yearly pass more than double in price and amenities suffering even more. Dirty outhouses and floating restrooms. Sharp rusty sign posts, no boards left on boat docks.

Our first time. It was awesome. We had the place to ourselves. Showers were out of order. Clean restrooms. Port a potty’s available. We found a plug to get some power. Multiple grills and picnic benches available. We swam around and also brought an inflatable boat with oars. There were life jackets available for use there for free, they were hanging on a rack.

For the money spent on camping the camp grounds should be level and weed free. The picnic area lake view is non existent do to overgrown bushes tree's and weeds other than that it's a nice place to hang out with friends.

We stayed in a cabin with 2 dogs a 4 and 6 year old. The camp grounds are well maintained, bathrooms and showers are clean and new. The beach and lake are amazing there’s a nice loop trail even my 4 year old could do. There are a lot of bugs but no mosquitoes. Will defiantly come back!

This is a great park, lots of trees, large Rv spots, lots of privacy. Water is great, they have a sandy beach. Lots to view, even saw a naked person roaming their Rv, just cause the windows are tinted doesn’t mean you can’t see through them, especially when your lights are on, I’ve enclosed pictures, blurred of course. Cool bridge to walk over at night as well. Price has gone up way too much for what you get here and nothing else near by. 50 a night is a bit pricey.

Nice boat ramp, it wasn’t very busy on a Thursday afternoon. Peaceful. I didn’t camp but the camping facilities seemed adequate but not spectacular. $20 for day use/parking - a little steep but what isn’t nowadays. Would have been a better value if I spent the day there instead of just 2.5 hours. Wanted to test out my boat after being stored for a few years, it was a good place for that. A good portion of the lake is a ‘no wake’ zone, but there was also a fair sized area that is open water. Jetskis and monster V8++ boats are prohibited.

Great place for a perfectly getaway! I'm not necessarily a birder and I don't fish, but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy my stay here. It is definitely geared more for those hobbies. I was in the area to do some cycling out of Patagonia and this was a great base camp. I definitely recommend the East side for a quieter setting. Spots are nice and spread out with electric and water hookups. Showers were clean with hot water.
