Best campground right next to Weir's beach. We've been camping here for years and always had a great time! Family owned and operated. Very friendly, accomodating and welcoming staff as always. Bathrooms/Shower houses always clean. They also have a laundry room. The beach is always cleaned up daily, etc. There's a children's playground there too. They always have events going on for everyone of all ages. There is a walking path that takes you straight up to the Weirs Beach sign, which is great, so you don't have to drive anywhere. Plenty of fishing to do there as well. Everyone in the campground is friendly and everyone respects each other. Family campground, not a loud and rowdy party campground like some of the places up in Laconia. If you're looking for peace and quiet, Paugus Bay is where it's at!

We called looking to stay for one or two nights and ended up staying for five! Mostly seasonal campers with trailers and fifth wheels, but with a good selection of sites for passers-through like us in small RVs and tents. Spacious, terraced sites under a leafy canopy with increasingly open views of Lake Winnipesaukee's Paugus Bay as you move down through the campground toward the shoreline. They have a great, reasonably priced camp store with ice, firewood, bait, grocery staples and miscellaneous camping gear. We loved how easy and convenient it was to walk or ride our bikes into Weirs Beach for dining and drinks. The bathrooms and free, hot showers were in great working order and spotlessly clean throughout our stay. The campground is family owned and operated (since 1980!) and the family members we met (George and Laurie) were super helpful and a delight to talk to. Would definitely camp here again.
