I'm turn with this camp site. It was very clean, nicely located, nice enough owners, and it was fairly empty since we were there off season. They have to playground areas and a in ground pool. With that said, the camp sites are fairly on top of each other which can get awkward and noisy, but again we were there off season and had most of and area to ourselves. The camp fires have no grates on them so really hard to cook food on them. That was a huge frustration. Also we had people rolling into camp at 9:50 at night and setting up everything really loud and later in the evening. They had these giant flood lights on the back in their truck to help them see, but light and the noise made it hard to sleep when we got to bed at 10:30. Very clean, pretty, fun things for kids, and clean bathrooms, but some frustration. Their firewood prices were good though and had a nice deal of 4 bundles for $16.

We live in the Bangor Maine area and we wanted to do a quick getaway tent camping trip. Paul Bunyan Campground was the perfect place for us. We had a small area that was flat and at the time away from others. If there were more people tent camping in September then it wouldn't have been as isolated. The amenities were great and the employees were very kind. It isn't a typical tent camping place that I have experienced and it is more catered to RVs but we still enjoyed it.

Camped two nights on Labor Day weekend. Everyone was super friendly. Great place for young kids. Staff (Josh) was very nice. Looks well maintained.

Beautiful well maintained campground. My kids have had a blast here this week. The playgrounds and the pool are spotless. Bathrooms are kept very clean. Someone is always put working on the grounds to keep them nice. The frog pond has been out favorite part this week! One thing to keep in mind is that the campground is near the airport so there is a lot of air traffic, however, we think it is the coolest thing watching the planes take off.

My family had an absolutely lovely time camping here! The campsites were roomy and private, with plenty of trees for shade. But what really set this place apart was how incredible the staff was. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a nice time. They set up an elaborate slip and slide, and then helped my niece over and over until she finally made it all the way down the slide. The pancake breakfast was delicious, the pool was clean, and the atmosphere was friendly. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone, but especially people with children!
