If I could give it a ZERO +, I would! We tried to make a reservation, and it said that we had to make the reservation 3 days in advance, but we could show up any time before 10 pm, and there would be a kiosk to reserve a spot for the night. After driving for 12 hours over multiple states, we showed up there to find the place vacant, no camp host anywhere to be found, and the kiosk they mentioned was a cash only deposit box, which had no clear instructions, not that we brought cash anyhow. The guide on the phone never mentioned anything like that. She told us that there would be people there until 10 if we needed assistance. We are now sitting in our camper at a rest area, to at least try to get some sleep before another long drive tomorrow. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone outside of Nebraska, since they clearly don't want outsiders.

I love it here The staff are the best. Especially Darren. He is friendly and easy to work with. I was here over the BIG storm and lost all of my stuff. Because of Darren understanding the severity of my situation, I was able to keep up with my responsibilities outside the park, while picking up the pieces inside the park.

This review is for Lakeview campground. Great host and employees. 10 days before we arrived the campground had experienced a very high wind storm. Many trees had been knocked down. It was evident that they had worked very hard to clean up the campsites and the roads.The bathrooms and showers were clean. Campsites are large. Unfortunately, none of the trails appeared to have had trees and bushes cut back this summer, and they were not usable because of this - not downed trees. Kayak launch area was the same. Another negative is that showers are coin operated. The beach area was not connected to the campground.

My home away from home when I take my RV out. There are 3 different areas to camp in, as well as a primitive area. The Lakeview has an actual restroom, newly remodeled, with coin operated showers. The other areas have outhouses. There are trails, nice views of the lake, a playground, horseshoe pits if you know where to look, and areas that are more quiet and secluded...a little something for everyone. There are no full hook up spots, but there are 30 and 50amp spots. Not fancy, but relaxing and I enjoy it very much!

I definitely love this lake have for years, we catch alot of wipers, cat fish, white fish, a few bass and alot of bluegills. Camping for rv or campers is higher than all other lakes in area usually its 25 a night in season but these guys run 30-35. Their out door bathrooms are currently in desperate need of a cleaning. But the grounds are usually really clean. With the recent storm there are alot of limbs all over. Which was a great steal for firewood. Would of gave a 5 had the bathrooms been clean and the price wasn't high.

I've been frequenting Pawnee lake since I was young and I've always loved the park! Game and parks does a fantastic job keeping it well maintained and welcoming. A great place to fish, camp or just get back to nature and view wildlife!!!

Seems like a great place to come and fish, watch birds, or just relax to the sound of the water! There are a couple spots you can get up to the water at. There’s plenty of parking on the east side along with park benches and bathrooms.

Great time to camp. No Bugs! So nice getting out before I get bugs! Yes, there was another camper onsite. So Peaceful and the birds!! Hope to get out again soon.

This is a beautiful NE State Park with great campgrounds that have modern bathrooms and showers in certain areas. Gorgeous, peaceful views. The lake is fun to boat on and the beaches are clean, large, and well maintained. The trails are nice to walk on also. One of our favorite State Parks in the eastern NE area. It is a great getaway place.

What a wonderful camp site. The site is neat and very clean! The campers are really nice and are very polite and quiet at nite. There is unlimited camping and fun at this location! Highly recommend for long term memories.

My favorite lake I've ever fished. I just wish they kept up the nasty a$$ bathrooms and weeds. Also, bass have to be 21 inches to keep?That's a master angler. Unheard of! Stupid!!! The water was surprisingly very clean today. Caught some very nice size catfish for dinner. First pic is separate trip than the other 2 pics. Not too bad. :)

I had the most peaceful 2 weeks I've had in a long time. Nobody bothered me and i felt completely safe all by myself at night . The grounds are very well kept and beautiful. Even the bathrooms were acceptable and clean. A definite new weekend getaway spot for me!
