Great place as long as you don't need the bath houses came to stay 14 days but leaving early due to lack of cleaning in the bath houses. Started my stay on Friday at noon and bath houses where clean but no one all weekend long cleaned them by Saturday night they where starting to look bad a mess in one of the shower that was there Saturday morning was still there Sunday evening only difference instead of cleaning it up they put a wet floor caution sign in front of what looked to be puke I'm very disappointed in this place and I have a thousand trails membership and it's free for me to stay and I won't be back and it's sad it was a nice campground other than the bathhouse mess oh and pool was closed all weekend Monday morning update bath houses where being cleaned the worker said the new managers where trying to save on staffing and they decided bath houses could be left over a full weekend without cleaning sad to say that's impossible in a campground speaking from years of experience as a regional manager for campgrounds this is not the way to go cleaning staff should clean and freshen every bath house 3 times a day what was the manager thinking bad idea .....

These very abrasive, sarcastic front desk jockeys have me wanting to literally jump over the counter at them. I recommend another park if you don't want your guests to talked to in a condescending manner. They think they're funny, but they're just arrogant jerks. I was truly treated like a 5 year old from a man-child. Not okay.

I feel like consumers should know before purchasing Encore. They will put you in the worse spots because you are booking through Thousand trails. We are staying at Ramblers Rest in Vanice Fl. I checked online and showed no availability. I called the campground directly. The lady said that she had room for all three nights. When asked to book she said, “ wait, you are not a thousand trails member are you?” When I responded with yes her attitude changed. She said that she could not take my booking. I had to call thousand trails. In calling they could only book two nights. The lady at the park said that they only have a few spots for Encore members so she couldn’t give me the 3rd night. Then I asked if I can pay regularly price for the ine night. She refused to help me and said that Encore members cannot make regular reservations. On arrival the office was closed. Our arrival packet was there but the card did not work to access the park. It was only 7pm, no one answered the phones. After an hour an good samaritan let us in. The place is beautiful with nice spots wide open. They put us right between the residential area. These are things no one told me before purchasing Encore. I feel like we all should know before purchasing.

Thousand Trails members rejoice! LOTS of places, even in FL peak season. Most of the power in the lower flood zone sections are now 50 amp. For the sites that don't have sewer, the park offers a 1 x weekly visit from the honey wagon. You have to go to the office to schedule it and then they come the next day. Keep an eye on your tank levels, because the office isn't open on Sundays. Having the gate wide open on Sunday is only slightly concerning, but you still might want to keep anything valuable enough inside your rig at night.

Well, the management has switched over recently. Not sure about the staff yet. I do love the campground in general. I have stayed here twice now. The trails are great! There are lots of walking and biking riding options in this camp. Plenty of room, so not crowded even at high season. The residents are kind and welcoming. There are a lot of dogs, and plenty of poop stations. My main complaint is that they REFUSE to fill up the poop bag stations with bags. I asked a few times and even did a price search. It is only $43.00 for 2,000 bags. Instead of filling up the stations with bags, they have now removed the poop bag dispensers. WE MUST PROVIDE OUR OWN POOP BAGS???? So a trip to the dollar store? I have NEVER seen a park NOT provide bags! Very disappointed. :(. and there is no Dog Park...

We're just now leaving what was a fantastic experience with the fine folks at this particular campground. There's so much for people to do children included and it's in a beautiful yet low-key environment right on the water absolutely gorgeous very clean but the best part are the people in the office they did me a huge favor today so that I could have a wonderful day with the woman that I will one day marry if I can figure out a way to trick her into it. I cannot thank them enough they just the staff at this place go above and beyond and I just want to recognize them for it.

This is a wonderful Campground with tons of amenities pool, put put golf, club house, general store and more. This is a Thousand Trails park so it stays exceptionally full. The peace river is on the back side of the park with a beautiful trail that goes along the bank. Overall a peaceful Park, all the staff were exceptionally polite, friendly and professional.

Beautiful campground! Really friendly staff! Fun fossil hunting in the area. Friendly campers. I literally lost count of how many people offered to help or just said hi and had tips for the campground as we were coming in to park. Love the museum across the street. A really nice spot!! Just wish there were more campsites with full hook ups.

One side of the park has full hookups and some concrete pads (including sewer) and feels like an RV park, just rows of RVs right next to each other. The sites are decently sized though. The other side feels more like a campground - More trees, grassy sites, water and electric (no sewer, just a dump station.) The trails around the outside edge of the park are nice though and you can go down to the river. Some people were finding sharks teeth in there. We enjoyed our spot in the corner by the trees and will come back again.

A large RV park but still had room to back in. Pool was heated. 1/2 lots have no sewer but they do a lottery to move to a sewer option if you stay longer. Friendly staff. Hot tub was out of order. Playground, laundry, showers. Lots of families enjoying the day. A path down to the peace river. We had bikes and rode around easily with our bikes.
