Very clean & quiet campground. The bathrooms & showers were always super clean & campsites were exceptionally well maintained. The owners & staff were very friendly. Dudley the dog was a treat to visit every day. It’s just minutes to Pemiquid Point Light, historic Pemiquid, Pemiquid beach & Damariscotta village. There is also a very nice place to watch the sunset on the southern side of the point. We will be returning next year.

We just spent a wonderful week at this family owned campground. They work hard to keep everything in tip top shape. Bathhouse and laundry were spotless. Cute little office and gift shop. Very quiet park. Close to a lot of attractions: Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, Pemaquid Beach Park, Hardy Boat Cruises and Shaws Wharf restaurant. No sewer hookups, but have a dumpstation.

It was great! We came up for the puffin cruise nearby and the campground was about 5 or 6 minutes away from that. We also had to book day-of (!!) after we booked a campsite in advance elsewhere that fell through last minute, which was a lifesaver. It was quiet and peaceful (although we were a group of 20-somethings, we tried to be respectful of our noise, as other guests seemed to be mostly families and retirees). Lots of flower pots and they were very respectful of the bird nesting on the porch of the office. It's very clean there as well. The area is great and we had a lovely time at Rachel Carson Salt Pond Preserve nearby. Our lot at first was in a very sunny area and they kindly allowed us to move to a more shady spot too upon request. The playground is really cool. Seems to be largely volunteer run (?) and I had a lot of lovely conversations with one of the volunteers there, and she gave us advice on the most scenic route down and recommendations for beaches and places to see!

Last visited 25 years ago. Still beautiful, clean and charming. Close to great fun and hiking! Thank you for a wonderful visit, Emily and crew.

Super sweet, family-owned campground, with huge pots of flowers around all the public facilities. Sites are very close together but each site has water, picnic table, fire ring. (The office has public wifi. Once it quieted down Sunday we were able to join their network at our campsite, which was helpful, since we had no cell coverage.) Overall facilities are great. Staff is super nice. Bathrooms and showers are spotless. Laundry, ice, sinks for washing dishes, firewood for sale. Our fellow campers were great. Even though the campground was crowded, they quieted down fairly early in the evenings. If you are tent camping to enjoy the coast, this is a GREAT location. If you're the kind of person who prefers privacy and nature AT YOUR ACTUAL CAMPSITE, might not the best fit. Even though I am the latter sort of person -- usually camp at state and national parks!!! -- and was hesitant when I saw how crowded and close it was when we first arrived on a Saturday.... it worked out great! We really enjoyed being here and I highly recommend it.

Probably my favorite campground I stayed at. Exceptionally clean. Really nice laundry room though I didn’t use, it appeared they were new and clean - room also had counter and seat and bookshelf and outlet - great options for waiting for laundry. Small campground, but still with decent space between sites and some pretty cool unique sites. Nice outside game area. Office has deck outside and picnic table to do work if needed (they say wifi only at office but was able to get some at close campsite). Of course great location. Louder campers respected quiet times 100% which was nice and unexpected based on other campground experiences.

This was a great campground with large campsites. The grounds were kept nice and they have clean restrooms and showers. Site numbers spoke of Maine as they were painted on buoys and hung in trees.

Quiet and clean place. Great place to take your family. Has a playground for your children with small basketball court.

This family owned campground is peaceful and quiet. Located a couple of miles north of the famous Pemaquid Point Lighthouse and Jon's Cove/Bay. We had site 47 and it was huge with all the hookups for our trailer. Every site has water, stone fire place and electric and a few have sewer as well. Small country store, large recreational facility, kids playground and exceptionally well maintained and clean. No pool, no wifi or cable tv. Our antenna brought in about 18 channels. Heavily treed and shady with large wide open sun drenched manicured fields. Driveway right on Maine Route 130 South of Bristol.

Nice little family run campground. Pretty well maintained. The showers need more ventilation on warm days. They also need someplace to put soap and shampoo while showering. The bumper between the wet area and "dry" area of the shower rooms is inadequate so there is no dry place to stand. I don't want to make it sound like the showers are bad, because they bleach clean them daily. Very decent. Also a toilet room, a place for dishwashing, and a very nice little laundry room with 2 washers. They have ice and firewood for sale. A playground for kids.
