The Pemi River Campground and all sites are well maintained. All staff strive to provide a very clean and safe camping environment and experience. Definitely a family friendly campground. We highly recommend this campground.

Owners are rude, have zero compassion and zero loyalty to returning customers. we had to reschedule camping due to a tragic family death and instead of transferring during rebooking, they refunded half and charged us for a full weekend when we rebooked. the card when rebooking was declined due to the card was replaced from many months before on the original booking. they just canceled the rebooking all together without notifying us. we showed up ready to camp and they were so unbelievably rude about the whole situation."you should be grateful we refunded you at all." We have enjoyed this campground for 11 years and brought many new people that have become loyal customers. We are beyond disappointed in the lack of compassion for loyal campers who are grieving and truly looked forward to a relaxing and fun weekend. We will NEVER book here again. we will never recommend to anyone. As fellow granite staters, we are ashamed of you. I hope you receive more compassion and just general kindness than you have given when tragedy strikes you. karma is real....

Drove 40 min to do tubing only to find a hand-written note on the door that read "no river trips until further notice." Anyone who stays up in the mountains k own how frustrating that can be when all the destinations are a bit of a drive. Had there been anything on here, or the website, Facebook, anything, we could have spent that time on another activity. I will say the person at the desk at least recommended a place up the road but advised it would not be worth it due to the water table.

If, like me, you have been calling for info about tubing and getting the (full) voicemail, I stopped by today and found out that they are not renting tubes because the river is low. Looks like you can get a shuttle if you bring your own. Also- I heard a dial tone when I walked in and I think they’re just leaving the phone off the hook. So best of luck to anyone trying to make a reservation :)
