Pendleton KOA

Just stayed one night. Came in about 10 minutes before closing. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, I needed some ice. Park was really full but very quiet. It is a bit tight but we were able to maneuver our 39’ motorhome and flat towed jeep easily enough. Pull through was excellent. We didn’t even have to unhitch the jeep.

10/23/25 Great Stay at Pendleton KOA - Site 46 We had another wonderful stay at the Pendleton KOA! This is our second time within a week. The campground was clean, quiet, and very well maintained. Our pull through site was level and easy to access, with nice spacing and a comfortable setup. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the park had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, It’s a beautiful and convenient spot — and is conveniently located to local shops. We will definitely stay here again when passing through Pendleton! 10/18/25 Great Stay at Pendleton KOA – Site 49 We had a great stay at the Pendleton KOA! We were at Site #49, which was clean, level, and easy to access. The campground is very nice, well kept, and quiet — perfect for a relaxing stop on our trip. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the park was well maintained throughout. A great KOA with everything you need for a comfortable stay — we’ll definitely return when passing through Pendleton!

Clean campground, friendly staff, accommodating and helpful. Several permanent residents. We came in well-before quiet hour. The neighboring site was a permanent resident, and while we tried to be friendly, she refused to say anything and just scowled at us. Can't pick your neighbors, I guess. But other fellow campers and neighbors were very friendly

Conveniently located just a few blocks off the freeway. It’s easy to get to an access to service stations close by. Very well kept facility. There’s maintenance crew working around the park all day long. The one drawback is the spaces are really close together and if you’re pulling a 38 or 40 foot fifth wheel some spots, you have to back into the blind side and it’s pretty tight. They are very few pull through. At the dog park in a playground for the younger kids. I wouldn’t spend my summer here, but it certainly is a good spot for a stop over.

If you love the smell of cigarettes, this place is for you. First off, the good points. The area is very well maintained. The bathrooms are very clean and have very hot water. The hook ups are easy. Now the not so good... It seems like every other site hosts a long term chain smoker. The sites are a little more than a parking lot with a few trees. Nothing like trying to get to sleep or enjoy dinner while your neighbors fumigate the air that you're trying to breathe. The location is nothing special. There is a view of the golden plains, but no walking paths to nature or town. The town is on the other side of the freeway so if you're looking for a place to eat or shop, you'll need to drive to get there or hop on your bikes if you've got some. I was just here for one night while passing through. It's good for a quick one night stop. For anything longer, my personal choice would be to pick a spot with more space between campers and something closer to walking and hiking paths.

Good stop no complaints. Pads are gravel and level. Little cramped to the trailer next to you but not bad. Pet area is turf and well taken care of. Good stop for the night. Careful leaving the park as the turn is sharp and there is road damage right outside the entrance that could blow tires. But not the fault of the koa at all.

Restrooms and showers very clean and rest of park maintained. My only complaint is 0 Wi-Fi and only Two bars with Verizon. Complained to the office our second day and they said they would look into it but it never changed so 0 internet for 2 days.

We got the deluxe lot at the end of the park. Fire pit, patio furniture and barbecue. Definitely staying again.

The majority of the sites are quite tight, with ones in the center being back to back sites. We had very little room to park our truck and just barely fit into the site assigned to us. Very little shade with a single tree next to us that our slide pushed into to get it open. Laundry was clean and convenient. The location is an easy drive into downtown Pendleton and close to the highway. We booked this in a panic, needing a place to stay for the Fourth of July. We selected a back-in, full hookup 50/30 amp site, it cost a little more, but we thought the few extra dollars would be worth it. I remember it saying we would have a view of the mountains from our site. We checked in and were directed to the middle of the park, with another site directly behind us. The staff was very nice, trying to make it easy for us to get into our spot, even changing it to the one on the backside of the one originally assigned because it had more shade. The site only had 30 amp instead of 50 amps to run both AC's, plus we thought that we had reserved a site with 50 amps. Reservation only said full hookups. Overall, we survived on 30 amp and glad we cut our time there short. If you need to be in the Pendleton area, by all means stay here, just don't expect a bunch of room and be prepared to not get what you expected if it's a busy weekend. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
