Was disappointed seeing small children often riding bikes at 10:30 at night, in the playground and running around with sparklers I asked about it in the office and they said the parents verbally attacked them. The old owners would have asked them to leave. What happened to the rules?

Cute resort. We stayed with family. The rules should be revisited. Great location with a lot of activities for all ages.

First the pros-big grassy fields. Large permanent sites, swimming pool and nice playground. Very quiet. Management doesn't bother you. Nice traditional camping. Now the cons-nice grassy tent sites with NO water not even a shared water supply. You had to go to a bathroom. Bathroom was single person, if someone was showering you could not use bathroom. The biggest negative for us was how small the sites were for people not staying full time. Wood was reasonable at 10 a bundle but make sure you have exact change, they don't like making change. Same goes for the 10 fee for the gate card.

Two years ago we camped in September for a month. The campground was very clean. Everyone was so friendly. We liked it so much the next year we camped for two months. everyone was very pleasant and welcoming to us. All of our family visited frequently especially for birthdays and important events. The grand children love the playground Which was very large and different. Also complete with a large sandbox. They also had different activities on the weekends . we were very happy that we found this campground. Bill and Mary Walsh

We first stopped at Peppermint Park because it was conveniently located about half way between our home in Maine and our daughter and family in NJ. Our next stay was to visit with friends & family who lived nearby. Both times we were impressed by the beautiful campsites, surrounding views and friendly campers & staff. After our third visit we decided we needed to camp at Peppermint Park for the summer, bought a camper, rented a beautiful site and have loved every minute since. Kevin & Ann Clark
