Great campground! Had no cell service. But made it more enjoyable since kids couldn't be on their phones

The river was rough for our crew... they were saved by the DNR respectfully...great campsites...

Quiet rustic campground, good for tents or smaller trailers. Very nice views and good fishing. Good location off of paved road.

This was a great quiet place to camp, hike and fish. Swimming not so much. The DNR does a great job taking care of the property especially the bathrooms. I wish there were showers 🤣

I live close by and this campground it is called Baxter Bridge campground. Hand pump well water to drink and vault toilets, no power hook-ups. This camp has lots of mature pines to camp under sites are flat enough for tents and with all the pine needles on some sights makes for soft ground. BTW Old US 131 campground is up stream on old 131 and the river about 5 miles as the crow flies, 15 miles by car.
