Perry KOA Holiday

Welcome to the Perry KOA, we look forward to your visit!

Perry, Florida, designated the "Tree Capital of the South" in 1965 by Governor W. Haydon Burns, is in the Big Bend area of Florida's Last Natural Coast and represents Old North Florida with its Majestic Southern Oaks, outstanding fishing, hunting, birding, canoeing, scalloping (July - September) unspoiled beaches and natural coastline. The Perry KOA is the perfect place to call home while you explore this wonderful area. The campground's Tent Sites and RV Sites are spacious. Super large sites are available, if you need extra room.  Rustic log cabins with and without facilities, and park model accommodations are available (some are pet friendly). You'll also find a playground for the kids and a huge heated pool for the whole family to enjoy. Check out "The Shack" with an 8' Valley Tournament Table and fitness center. Watch the game while you play, or the news while you exercise.  Other campground amenities include pedal cars, horseshoes, community fire pit and pot luck dinners. Rally and motorcycle groups are welcome!  Heated pool and Hot Tub open year round.  Max pull thru: 100 feet. Your hosts: Debby & Brian Somers

This is a AWESOME PARK!!With the improvements and things they’ve done so you can walk through the woods, are fantastic for pet owners. The owners are amazing people and I hope to return for many years! Being snowbirds with our furry friends the site is one of a kind!❤️

Just a one night stop. Check in was a breeze, nice staff and well stocked store. Given clear instructions to our site (in A section) which was a back in, gravel site, with lots of shade. Concrete patio, nice table with chairs, elevated fire pit and a wooden swing. Nice dog park and the bathhouse had private rooms with toilet/showers. There is also a room where you can give your best pal a bath.

The campground is really nice. The majority of the snowbirds were still up north so the campground was fairly empty which is nice because we enjoy the peace and quiet. We got a site with a private dog walk area and if you have a dog I can recommend getting the site. It was a really large dog walk area and there were a couple of Adirondack chairs in the area so you can sit while your dog runs around.

This is our 2nd time staying at Perry KOA Holiday as an overnight while traveling. This time we reserved one of the sites with a private dog park. The site exceeded our expectations! The private dog park has nice grass, no ants (amazing feat for being in Florida!), and is very large and securely fenced. The cement patio comes with a big, clean gas grill and a fire pit with metal grates for cooking. It has a sturdy metal table with chairs and Adirondack chairs for relaxing. Everything is super clean. We sat outside all afternoon and evening. I can’t say enough good things about this KOA. It was well worth paying extra for the private dog park. Our dogs loved being able to run around and play after being on leash for almost 2 weeks during our camping trip to Georgia. I highly recommend it.

This unique little KOA might not look like much from the road but it’s actually a nice park. The bathrooms are clean and new, the sites are clean and varied, the pool and laundry are nice and convenient and the staff were helpful. The location in Perry is not great, although we did take trips to some nearby state parks and saw some cool springs where local cave divers captured our attention. The park is small but quiet with no nearby trails or bike paths. Cute group campfire area and dog park sites. Not a place for a long vacation but definitely worth a one- or two-night stay!
