Wow. Hidden gem. Level concrete pads, full hookups. Showers. Bonus: our site overlooked a small rodeo ground with young people competing in equestrian events. I've never camped under pine trees in Kansas - now I have. Phillipsburg is a wonderful example of small town America.

On our way from Oklahoma to Sturgis, found this charming park via google. Perfect, cost effective overnight campground with full hook ups! Quick & easy check in. Grab a slip for a spot, put $15 in the envelope and drop it in the lock box. Thank you City of Phillipsburg for your hospitality and accomodation! ❤️

Fun family town. We were treated to a barrel horse competition with riders as young 5 to adults. The park also has baseball fields with games going into late night. Check out Black Sheep tavern less than a mile up G street. Campground has 11 large cement leveled pads wth water and power. $15 per night, first come.... We were he only ones there.

Great campground. Full hook ups, shower house, fabulous playground. So convenient. Camped here all the time as a kid. Stopped in just to see it again. More sites added and paved. Lots of great memories.

Great place for sledding when there's snow on the ground. The slopes on the east side of the area provide areas of varying angles that's perfect for little ones to older kids

A nice small city campground. Only 30 amp but that is fine with us. Level sites for the most part. Quiet but trees all around so couldn't setup our Dish tailgator. $15/night for electris & water is awesome.

One of the best playgrounds in the area! I judge parks and playgrounds by how long I have to argue with the little one when we have to go. 10 minutes worth of arguing. Very nice, well kept, lots of trash cans for easy pick up of refuse.

This is an AMAZING PARK for the kids to play at. All enclosed playground with only one entrance and picnic tables located inside. Also a ballfield, along with a campground. I'm sure there are other amenities, but we only stopped for an hour.

This is a small campground but quite nice and very appreciated. It was only $10/day and included electric and water hookups for my RV motorhome, plus each site has its own small trash dumpster. It overlooks the very nice city park and I took this photo of the very amazing rock bridge below the campground from the old "Fort" days. The sites are nestled in shade trees at the top of a hill. There is a sign on the way up that says "Campers only", but unfortunately, people go up in their cars and delivery vans to use the men's and women's bathrooms which have a large shower stall in them as well. Apparently someone made a mess of the men's, so while I was in the women's taking a shower, men were knocking wanting in to use the ladies bathroom. They weren't camping there. It just seems to be a favorite place for people working and delivering to use the bathroom in the campground. The City Park below has bathrooms so I don't know why they come uphill there and ignore the "Campers only" sign. That was the only downfall to staying there, other than the web shows there's a "RV sewer dump station" there and there wasn't.
