Beautiful area. Quiet and relaxing even during the busy season at the end of summer. Great for anyone who loves the outdoors, fishing, watersports and natural beauty. The campgrounds are immaculate as are the service areas and amenities provided. The hosts were always polite and helpful.

Well worth the $7 day pass. Great Beach picnic area bathrooms. I have never camped there but the campground looks great.

Weekend camping trip with my twin 4th grade boys, an end of summer getaway. Nice campground at Goose point, above the lake not right by the water. Sites are shady, somewhat secluded, well designed with water spigot and restroom/shower close by. The beach is a nice spot for the kids.

Goose Point is arguably the best campground for RV and camping enthusiasts in basset Virginia. The campground features lakefront sites next to the lake swimming area. Clean and a family favorite for camping and boating. Pontoon rentals for $200.00 for 4 hours or $400.00 for 8 hours. Is available to enjoy. Clean bathrooms and showers are offered as well. I highly recommend this campground to everyone.

This park has the ability to be a great destination but it needs lots of work to update the sites and bathhouses. The rv sites are very unlevel and parking your vehicle is a joke. Water pressure was poor. If you have to use the bathrooms at night no lights and poor walking conditions to get there. It’s a shame that what could be a beautiful place is in such poor condition. On the plus side the park rangers were very kind and friendly.

Worst place ever. Storm came zero power all weekend. Was told we could have a generator so called park ranger said we couldn’t have it cause we was black .

Great COE campground. Very clean, well kept, friendly staff. Navigating through campground with larger rigs can be a bit tricky including getting into some of the sites. Taking your time and being patient is worth the stay. Since campground is about 5 miles off the main road you're rewarded with a quiet stay. Beautiful views and easy access for boaters to launch. Will definitely return again.

This was our first time here. He had a waterfront site and 4 days of perfect weather. With our "America the beautiful" senior pass our cost was $14.00 per night. There is no fast way to get here but it's well worth it. A nice quiet relaxing campground. We will come back.

What a gorgeous campground! We stayed on Loop C where there was a lake view from anywhere you looked. So beautiful. Many reviews talk about roads leading in. We have a pick up truck with pop up camper and had no problems. The staff is friendly and the common areas (bathrooms, beach area and picnic shelter) were spotless. Nearly every site was occupied and reservations are a must. We have already booked time in July and October. This place is a jewel!
