This was a fun beachy area where you could swim in the warm water. The swimming area is marked off and people seem to obey the "no wake" area. The sand is full of rocks and ants in some spots, but still fun to play in. It smelled very bad due to the porta potty, but there is a lot of parking and multiple places to get in the water. You could even bring your paddle boards here :) There are also picnic tables where you can grill and lots of spots to put your beach mats/towels on grass. Beautiful!

What a beautiful piece of West Tennessee! Sunset lake cruise was absolutely gorgeous. The lodge was modern, beautifully furnished and the restaurant served up delicious meals. Every room has a fantastic view. Highly recommend!

Easy to book the sites and affordable rates. Spot 30 was nice as a tent campsite (one spot over from the Bathrooms/showers and quick walk to the park which is right beside the bathrooms). The sites are good size and have a picnic table, hook, electric, water, and a fire ring. The facilities were clean and easily accessible. Playground available for the kids. Nice walking trail near the lake. I was easily able to get in touch with the park ranger when we needed assistance with our car. Literally the only con we came across was the awful, nauseating smell we woke up to in the morning. We didn't smell it any time while we were there other than in the morning thankfully, but it was a pretty bad smell(I think others have said it's from a papermill that's nearby). Despite this, we definitely hope to return to camp again soon because everything else was enjoyable!

Lots of swimming opportunities, great park and walking trail. I do wish we could use the Forrest trails without having to hike TO them. (They would not let me in the campground to park closer without camping. Understandable.) we loved the birds out front, and the reptile room was super cool. My favorite staff yet- so sweet and knew all kinds of facts and had answers for every question. I WILL WARN YOU- PEOPLE BRING PETS TO BEACH AREA AND LET THEM POTTY ON SAND. I watched them just kick sand over it so we left. Do better folks.

The park is beautiful and well kept. The campground could certainly use some love! Sites are very uneven. Not great for bigger campers. But very quiet. Lots of hills, not great for older (heavy like me!) folks to bike. They need to spread a little of that beauty and love from the park to the campground. Probably won't stay here again. Bathhouse has been updated. Nice n clean. Sites are just very rugged n uneven. I'm spoiled tho... we stay at COE'S mostly. Happy camping!
