I am a member of shooting range at Pierce Creek. The park is a beautiful place. A lake to fish, camp grounds, an area to bring your horses to ride, and the gun ranges (one pistol, one rifle).

Pretty great for camping quiet and kept nice. They offer electric with water hook up and non electric. Not a whole lot of fishing access unless you want to sit in the weeds and the tall grass. And No swimming. Gun range is closed wh7ch was pretty disappointing. They also offer an equestrian area with campsites which looks pretty decent with lots to offer.

We've been picnicking here since I was a child in the 1980s. Honestly, it's not like it used to be. The trees are an improvement, it used to have no windbreak and the wind was terroble, haha! Though, now the playground equipment really needs redone, and it would be great if someday the bathrooms were updated (they're the hole in the floor type), BUT if you want a quiet place with a picnic shelter, a water spigot, nearby bathroom, and BBQ, it's perfect.
