Pierce RV Park

Overview

Pierce RV Park serves as a convenient and well-maintained stop for travelers navigating through eastern North Carolina. Situated just off major highways, it offers a peaceful respite without the complexity of larger resort-style parks. The focus here is on cleanliness and accessibility, providing a reliable base for those exploring Martin County or passing through to the coast. It is a family-owned operation that maintains a welcoming atmosphere for both short-term and long-term guests looking for a quiet place to park.

The park is strategically located in Williamston, often referred to as the gateway to the Outer Banks. Positioned near the intersection of Highway 17 and Highway 64, it offers easy on-and-off access for large rigs. The immediate surroundings are characterized by the flat, forested terrain of the Coastal Plain. Its proximity to the Roanoke River allows visitors to enjoy the natural beauty of the region while remaining close to local conveniences like grocery stores and regional dining options.

Amenities & Park Features

Guests can expect essential facilities designed for comfort and ease of use. The park features full hookup sites with both 30 and 50-amp electrical service to accommodate various RV sizes. Most sites are designed as pull-thrus with level gravel pads, simplifying the setup process for those arriving late. On-site amenities include a clean bathhouse and laundry facilities, ensuring that travelers have everything they need for a self-contained stay. The park is also pet-friendly, offering sufficient space for walking four-legged companions.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

While staying in Williamston, visitors have several local gems to explore. The nearby Senator Bob Martin Eastern Agricultural Center hosts various equestrian events and shows throughout the year. For outdoor enthusiasts, the Roanoke River provides opportunities for fishing and scenic boating. Families often enjoy a short drive to Deadwood, a unique Western-themed park featuring miniature trains and themed dining. Additionally, the historic downtown area of Williamston offers a glimpse into local heritage and traditional North Carolina charm.

This destination is an ideal choice for transit travelers looking for a safe and quiet place to rest while journeying toward the North Carolina coast. It is particularly well-suited for retirees and families who prefer a straightforward camping experience without the noise of a high-activity resort. Wonderful RV park to stay at. Very quiet, beautiful grounds and very nice owners. Full hookups, free wifi, and garbage cans are easily accessible. The permanent residents are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this RV park. This was my view outside my camper this morning. Thank you for the stay.

Seriously just got hung up on. Wow, how rude. Yes I understand you have a pet policy but you didn’t even tell me what it was. I told you the breed of dog and when you asked the weight of my dog, you hung up on me. I can’t believe how rude that was. I didn’t even get a chance to finish speaking when you hung up. Unbelievable. If I could give zero stars I would have.

Worse neighbor ever! View out of our window was this junkyard of motorcycles and his dog running free and coming over to bother us when we sat out and the person hitting golf balls behind our RV. When we left there was golf balls under our camper. This park has no rules apparently it's a Wild West of anything goes. I already complained to the owner twice about him and was lied to and told he was leaving in a few days. I had to speak to him once on my own about the golf balls and all he said was that he was almost a professional golfer. Tell me that when you dent my new RV! Nothing has changed and I have a feeling we will be the ones asked to leave so for the next few days because we are seniors we have to put up with the neighbor as we leave here April 19th. Can't wait! Oh! Forgot to mention there's fleas and ticks here for free if you want any.
