Just woke up and crawled out of bed, grabbed a coffee and watched Mother Nature put on spectacular performance! Thank you Pierres Point Campground. Our adventure was many years ago, and by the way your campground looks now we'll definitely be stopping by on our next trip out that way. I finally got a round to scanning Our old photo albums onto our PC. The Young maan who took us .in and registered us was a very nice young man. And although the mini golf course was in very rough shape he gave us what we needed to play, for nothing. And that little treat meant alot to me and my husband Thanks again.

Lovely little old school, family friendly(dogs too) campground. It's well kept, cleaned daily, and the staff couldn't be more kind. We especially loved the dod beach. One one the best! The only hitch...some of the seasonal residents forget that tents are thin as paper😆. Great place to stay, non the less.

Our stay was AWESOME! The staff were lovely. The amenities were clean. Mini golf was great. Playground was nice. We stayed in a tent with our 3 year old and 6 year old and we are normally trailer campers. We all slept great, the train was not a problem. Beach front camping. You cant ask for a better spot.

Really cute campsite with a great view. The trains slow down as they are going through, you know there is a train but it is not loud enough to be disruptive of your camping experience, The staff are very friendly and they work hard to keep the space clean. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean for a camping experience. We saw staff puttering around cleaning all day, they even clean all the aquatic plants off the shoreline so you don’t have to walk through slimy plants to go swimming.

Great little campground! We had a beautiful lot with a great view of the lake. The dog beach was a perfect place to chill with our pooch while we spent the afternoon in the water! The bathrooms and showers were clean and the dishwasher station was a plus. Con: the train but the view quickly outweighs the noise.

Very tight spaces. Packed in like sardines. So many permanent trailers set up. Extremely loud train. You are not allowed to leave or return after 10pm, gate is closed and no one is on site to let you in, they also won’t give you a code to the gate. We arrived a little later and wanted to go for dinner (not walking distance to restaurants/cafes) but wouldn’t have been allowed back in. Asked immediately for a refund once we found this out (within minutes of paying) and it was a huge hassle to get a refund, they wanted all of my personal information, copies of my government ID, totally ludicrous and a huge waste of time. There are other campgrounds in the area with much better, more helpful staff, cleaner and more private private spots and much more flexibility.

Great campground, located right on beach. Friendly staff, on-site store, playground, mini - golf, decent sized sites. Only downside is the trains right beside are very noisy, but worth dealing with it for the other great stuff!

Be prepared for the train, and lack of privacy at campground but other than that it was a phenomenal place for a vacation. Will return for sure!

Beautiful area, right on the lake, huge beach & lots to do. The concession booth was a nice touch. The fenced off dog beach at the end of the campground was gorgeous - separated from the incredibly crowded main Beach. My only complaint is that it's packed with seasonal "campers" so there's really not much space for travellers - between the people & the boats parked along the main Beach, there's hardly room to go for a swim.

We had a very pleasant stay years ago at this campground. Well maintained and right at the lake. I am a railfan and there is a train track right beside the campground. The tracks are greased to eliminate most of the typical train noise when a train is passing the campground. We'll be back after that Covid mess.
