Wonderful campground if you can get in. Fills up fast especially on the weekends. We booked 6 months out as soon as it would allow and got lucky. Pit toilet was clean and noise level was low. It's in the mountains and rains almost daily but not bad.

Nice campground, clean restrooms. To the person who stole my camp stove and propane tank off our picnic table, I wish you the best of luck with it. The tank is full, so enjoy that. One of the knobs is broken on the stove, I find vice grips work well as a replacement. To the camphost, man you're hard to find. I know it's not your responsibility, but you might want to know there is theft in your camp ground.

When you come in without reservations and are able to get a spot, sometimes that spot is only available for 1 night, if the host are able to accommodate you for another night, and you are upset because you have to change sites and you write a bad review because you had to move, it’s wrong. We stayed last week and the bathrooms were very clean as were the sites. Well maintained campground! We love Molly Brown and have never had a bad experience. Patricia Schlessman, sounds like you didn’t want to follow the rules and came straight to google to leave a bad review. I’ve been camping here since I was 10 and have never seen the bathrooms filthy. Rather childish. This is not a day use area either

Very beautiful campground Lake access if you're lucky enough to get a lakeside campsite, but the walks are not far from the other campsites. Very clean bathrooms and excellent hosts

We had made a reservation for 2 night at spot 19, and this spot was probably the biggest and best spots in the whole camp grounds. However the problem all began when we showed up with a pop up trailer and a RV motor home to the site at around 2pm. This is 💯 my fault as I was unfamiliar with the rules (AND THERE ARE A LOT OF RULES!) and I do not consider a pop up trailer an RV but apparently it is considered an RV. We were enjoying our camp ground and the lake we were just getting ready to start making dinner around 730 when the camp host Drew pulls and on us and tells us we have to leave because we are breaking the rules of only 1 RV allowed per site. We go back and fourth for a bit and I explain how I don’t consider my pop up an RV and this is all a misunderstands, and ask if there is anyway we can make this work out without us having to completely move camp or leave. By now it’s around 8pm, getting dark out and we still need to cook diner for our 2 kids and the rest of the family. Drew the whole time didn’t have a single shed of empathy for the situation we were in. What were we gonna do? Where were we gonna go at 830pm and it’s dark out and we drove 3 hours to get here. We eventually go and talk to the campsite next to us (SUPER NICE PPL, WHO WE BEFRIEND EARLIER ON THAT DAY) and ask them if we can move our pop up 15 feet into there site (THEY ONLY HAD 1TENT) just for the night, so we don’t have to pack up camp and go look for a new campsite at 830pm at night with a car full of hungry Children. They are totally cool with it. And thought the camp host were being complete unprofessional as they could hear the whole exchange cuz our campsites are literally on top of each other. We move the pop up and get back to our night when Drew comes back and starts yelling at us saying we were disturbing other guest. And says we can stay the night but first thing tomorrow we have to leave because we are not allowed. A horrible experience all around and ruined our camping trip. Great campground near Turquoise Lake and Leadville. Beautiful scenery. Pristine vault toilets. The lakefront sites are spacious and spread out (hard to reserve!). Weather had cold rain during our trip in late June but still really enjoyed it. Short drive to Leadville. Recommend High Mountain Pies if you’re craving pizza. Going back in 2022!

Such a quaint established campground. Friendly staff and great price! They offer a discount for the national parks pass also

Beautiful campground. Lots of tall pine trees for shade. The bathrooms are very clean and the sites are large with nice tent pads. A lot of the sites are right along the lake, but even the ones that aren't are a very short walk to the lake. The best thing about this campground is watching the sunset over the lake. Spectacular!
