Although in a nice location and relatively inexpensive, we would NOT recommend ever staying at this campground in it's current state. Management is unpleasant (at best) and severely behind in every mode of financial interactions & bookkeeping, dirt drive paths meandering all over the place, electrical at sites is iffy, some sites are at the extreme of unlevel, and it's just way too packed in. Maybe someday new management will remap this park, remove about 25% of this sites, lay out some decent drive paths, rework the electrical infrastructure, etc - oh, and hopefully treat customers decently would be a nice touch.

We stayed one night here in full hook-up back-in site. This is a private RV Park with a long time owner. It has about 200 spots in the popular recreation area of June Lake. This is a cash only business so bring plenty of it. Showers $1.00, laundry $2.00/machine. 30 amp back in $50.40, water-electric only site around $45. Sites are close together amongst tall pines. Easy walk, ride, drive to lake. Only one shower building was operable at the time but it was central to camp. Facility is old, and I believe the word resort is mis-applied here. Staff is generally friendly and helpful. No Wi-Fi, weak but usable cell service.

We just happen to stop by to refill my propane tank and the staff was more than accomadating. They are cash only, but they do have an ATM on site. The store and resort is well taken care of by retirees who love this lake and area. Be patient and kind. Sad I even need to mention that, but I personally watched someone give the clerks a hard time because the employees weren't moving fast enough. Needless to say, that guy was talked too. If you want to reserve a site you will need to call, that's the only way they reserve. Not a big deal. Enjoy the land!

If your looking for a "real" camping experience this is a great place to stay. We've been camping here for the past 3 years. They have a hook-up's, store, showers, laundry, tree's, wild life, squirrel's that eat from your hand basic needs for RV/trailer camping. It is very old school as far as technology for checking in, managing sites and payment. I've never had an issue with any of the staff. They have always been helpful. They expect campers to obey the rules of quiet time and fires out a 10 pm. I appreciate the reminder, it helps us stay on schedule for activities and fishing early the next morning. I see it as just doing their job. Keep in mind they are Seniors, so grumpy or rude is just a part of life. This year we lost our dog Bailey. The entire campground was out looking for her. The staff was AMAZING. They drove around on golf carts, checked with flashlight's under cabins, got a blood hound involved. They out did themselves. Our dog was found and it was an effort from staff and campers at Pine Cliff. We can camp anywhere we choose. We will always choose Pine Cliff when camping in the Sierra's. See you next year

Have been going here for over 50 years. Love the scenery and camp spots have always been great! However, the staff are not very friendly! Use to be but not anymore. Some people should just find another line of work if they hate their jobs. Probably won’t be back but we had a good run, great memories!

Pine Cliff Resort was one of the highlights of our trip and lowest at same time. The beach was great , warm water and sunny day, but when we tried to leave the next morning the coach wouldn’t start- Instead of leaving at 7 am we left at 2 pm and the only way we did get to leave was because of Mike Davis - an employee of the property- he crawled under the coach and banged on the starter! Now that’s service. So much fir AAA - nearest help was AZ or Bakersfield! Thank you Mike Davis! Sir! I would stay at Pine Cliff again - only with another RV! Jim Eckel

Old school campground and a hidden gem. They say it’s been around for 55 years and runs on a US Forest Service Lease but you won’t find it on Recreation.gov. You have to call to make reservations. We stumbled on it and because it’s old school we were able to get 6 days of camping with no reservations. Now because it’s old, it’s worn. But it does provide coin laundry, coin showers, all sites have shade, reasonable space between sites, walk to the beach, crazy chipmunks, and strict quiet hours. The folks that run it are super friendly and helpful. Most of all, I really appreciate the strict campfire out and quiet hours because so many campgrounds turn into party central it’s nice to find one that isn’t.

We showed up last minute after not knowing where we were gonna stay for the night. No one bothered us. The campground was pretty empty for that time of year. (Early May) The staff was very polite the next day and did not give us a hard time at all about coming into the park after hours. There was a fellow camper there that has been going to this site for over 20 years, loves to fish and June Lake has great fishing. More so in the middle than on the sides. There was a few family of deer hanging around, that was cool. And because we came in later than normal, checkout us usually 1030, and they told us not to rush because it was a Sunday and the park wasn't busy. We enjoyed it and will be back.
