Location & Surroundings
Situated in South Bloomingville, the camp is perfectly positioned on the edge of the Hocking State Forest. The environment is exceptionally quiet and secluded, making it an ideal spot for those who appreciate the deep woods and the rhythmic sounds of nature far from highway noise.
Amenities & Park Features
The facility is thoughtfully designed to support both campers and their equine companions. RV sites are equipped with electric and water hookups, accommodating various rig sizes with ease. For horse care, the camp provides sturdy picket lines at every site, along with a horse wash station and well-maintained manure pits to ensure the grounds remain clean. Additional comforts include a modern bathhouse with hot showers, a dump station for RV maintenance, and large fire rings for evening gatherings under the dark Ohio skies.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Beyond the immediate bridle trails, visitors are just a short drive from the iconic landmarks of Hocking Hills State Park. Popular destinations like Ash Cave, Old Man's Cave, and Cedar Falls offer stunning waterfalls and incredible hiking opportunities. We had a quick one night stay here before we headed to Hocking Hills. We got in late but it was SOOOOOOOO quiet here. Easy to back in and beautiful setting. We are not horse owners but it was super cool to be able to look out into the stables.

We spent a week here in our camper and it was so relaxing. It's so nice here. I personally loved the horse vibe. Staff was so professional and personable. We will, for sure, be back. Can't wait to try the cabins... they are gorgeous.

We went to Hocking Hills for a family and friends weekend of hiking, playing games, eating and relaxing. Super fun time in a serene, wooded location. Best cabin I've ever stayed in. Actually even better than the pictures. Beautiful rustic decor, wonderful amenities (which all worked except the wifi), well stocked and clean. Beautiful wrap around porch with a grill, hot tub, 4 rocking chairs and a picnic table and we used everything. Made a cozy fire in the evening under the stars on a gorgeous clear night. I would come back and stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. Infact, I'm planning to book another stay here. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Great spot for horse camp and camping. Beautiful facility and well maintained. Great access to riding trails and to Hocking Hills State Park entrance. All the employees were so nice and super helpful. Why i gave a 4 star? They do NOT have a working wifi. Their starlink did not even show up. I hope they get this remedied. The bathroom/showers are awesome but there is only one facility. Hoping they look to add another one. Those two things would make this campground near perfect!
