The nearby Penobscot River is famous for its smallmouth bass fishing and white-water rafting, providing endless adventure for those who love the great outdoors.

Beautiful campground on the East Branch of the Penobscot River. The seasonal lots are spacious. The hosts do a great job keeping the campground nice.

My husband and I have been pondering on getting a camper and a seasonal for a couple years now and ended up scoring a fifth wheel from our friends for a good deal. We decided to get a seasonal at Pine Grove Campground for a lot of reasons but just a few ..... It was on the river that we both grew up on and the campground is beautiful. Its also family friendly, with a basketball hoop, playground and toddler room and its dog friendly. But the best thing about it is the sense of community there. We are definitely going to have our seasonal site there for quite some time.

Incredible location! We were able to do some great fishing on the river right from the campground. We brought our own paddle boards and it was fantastic. No one else on the water. They offer free river floats and canoes. Super clean/quiet/tranquil/and relaxing.

My husband and I just returned from a great time at Pine Grove Campground. The campground is located overlooking a lake. The grounds are kept up neat. There were real flowers at most sites. A nice touch! We stayed in a cottage with all the amenities. The cottage was spic and span. The host and hostess were always friendly and ready to help in any way. We loved their mascot , Baxter.

The campground was great. At site 1 we had a large tent site on a pond with its own water and regular electric. It held our 18’ trailer plus large tent and clam. The owner was on site and more than happy to help answer questions. The hot showers made the stay more comfortable. If I go back to Maine I will definitely stay there again.
