Ally Boring

Pros - [ ] Location- it is quiet and not far from Panama City - [ ] Monthly Rent is reasonable- you are charged a $150 electric deposit and you are charged for electricity. Single adult, running 1 AC at 77 degrees and my monthly charge was $119 - [ ] Many spacious pull-thrus- see Cons Cons - [ ] Not all pull -thrus have shade * - [ ] Water pressure- If you have an on demand hot water system, be warned. The owners set the park psi to 40. My on demand could not detect water unless I turned on another faucet. I had better pressure using my clean water tank. - [ ] Roads are in very poor condition with large potholes and very narrow; especially if someone is not parked completely off the road - [ ] The bathhouse is very dated and showers are small - [ ] Trees encroaching on your site that don’t allow you to utilize your awning * - [ ] Onsite storage- Many derelict looking vehicles and campers that look like they haven’t been touched in years!

Hotel Reviews

We visit this park every year on the way to and from South Florida. They have paved roads, walking trails, and two fishing ponds. Last Summer, a couple of four-legged visitors came to visit us too! We think this park is prettier than the description and also better than the surrounding parks. For those who want to get in touch with nature in a quiet safe environment, we highly recommend it. Great place to camp. Sites are well maintained, facilities clean, quiet and peaceful. Mary checked us in and went out of her way to accommodate our needs. Even our pets had a good time.

Nice and quiet place to stay. Level parking spots and most are pull through. Drive to the beach by day and relax at night. I met the owners and they are great people. Staff does their best to accommodate any request. NOT a party camp and that's fine with me. I would highly recommend this campground for short or long-term stay.

I don’t have time to list all the negatives about this place, but there’s a reason why they have such a low rating already. The bathrooms are gross. The property is not very well kept up, one of the dryers doesn’t even dry and they try to keep your deposit claim there was dog poop which is actually all over the property. When you try to talk to the office guy about it he hangs up on you saying that you’re yelling at when I asked if they’re just trying to keep your whole deposit or not. They nickel and dime you, extra charge for having another vehicle parked by your RV. They are so unprofessional. I don’t recommend this place. There are so many other RV spots that are much cheaper with way better amenities and don’t try to screw you. I see on the other reviews they have a paragraph as to why they were in the right, if it really was the tenants fault why is there so many negative reviews time after time. Why they have to defend themselves?

Large camper sites with full hookups and room between campsites. WIFI at sites. Clean bathrooms, friendly staff and hiking trails. About 45 minutes to the beautiful beaches and 15 minutes to some springs. We will be back next year.

This place is not very nice place. We stayed for 1 night. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Will never stay there again.

OK place. Our site was pretty level, easy to get in/out ground was firm. We were there only one night, so only hooked up electricity. Being an over-night site, our electricity wasn't metered, but I noticed the long-term sites were; being a newbie, I don't know if this is standard or not. They had a "rec" room which was really a wreck - probably not fixed since the hurricane a few years ago. The bathrooms were usable - not heated, but good water pressure, clean water. However, the handheld shower heads were 7ft up, a stretch to reach them, and poorly mounted, so I had to stand in the corner of the shower to get any water on me. The lady in the office was friendly and helpful.

I'm new to the whole RV LIFE and very inexperienced at reservations , season , off season events etc and at the last , no the last second, I needed a spot immediately, having already arrived in the bay county area with no where to go during bike week well , these wonderful people saved my arse! And in the 2 months we stayed, I've never felt more welcomed anywhere, ELSE in my life. RV LIFE THAY IS LOL....

We are so thankful that the owners of Pine Lake RV park value family and a drug free, conflict free place for those of us that live in our RV's. We appreciate that they do not tolerate those that disturb the peace and endanger others with their dogs and family drama. The park is a nice quiet place to stay and if everyone follows the rules at all times it can remain a nice place to stay for a few days or a longer term. Thank you Bob and Maria for your willingness to stand up to those that want to do harm to your business and your reputation.

Recommended. Great place, really friendly staff. Very pretty property. Spacious sites and plenty of room (50 acres?) for roaming in the back by the pond. P.S. Read comments on blue tarps but they were renovating the front building during our stay. Hope it's finished when we return in the fall. Camped in a 40ft 5th wheel.
