Stayed here for our last weekend of the camping season. It was beautiful with all the trees and fall colors. Pretty quiet since it's the end of tge season. Sites are all full hook up. Prices were good too. This is the perfect campground for older age groups. We are in our 40s and dont have little ones anymore. Not sure it would keep little ones busy as there is only a small playground. Staff was pleasant but didnt really interact with them after checking in. Only complaint is that the sewer hook ups are kinda high making it a bit difficult for my husband to empty at the end of the trip. We most definitely will be back next season and wish we would of tried this place sooner.

Very unsatisfied with my stay. They put us on a site they recommended for our camper size. The site was less than 12 feet wide and was supposed to be a pull thru but had to back in due to the site being so narrow. We tried getting a different site but they said they were fully booked but there were multiple sites empty during our stay. We started getting set up and we got swarmed with ground bees that were on our site and they didn’t offer to move us they just gave us a can of bee spray and said spray them if they come out again. We tried getting our 2nd vehicle pass but I guess you can only get one if they are there when you check-in. So if you and your spouse come at different times they will charge you $15 a night. The owner who is an older lady was absolutely no help at all and give us a free attitude with our stay. You would think paying $57 a night you would be able to take a free shower but not here you have to pay to shower. They are obviously doing everything they can to get extra money. They don’t care about your stay only about your money!

It’s sad that for such a gorgeous and peaceful little campground, they have such atrocious staff (customer service). We ordered 7 bundles of wood to be delivered and an older gentleman quickly got off his golf wagon and said “leash that dog or leave” referencing our tiny toy poodle. We had literally JUST stepped out of the vehicle to unload/unpack and our poodle stood calmly at my side. Meanwhile, an intoxicated gentleman from across the way had his large retriever running all over the road and was not spoken to in this encounter. The restrooms are very dated. Many of the toilets in the women’s room were filthy at 6:40 pm. The showers are coin operated. I haven’t seen that in years! We brought our eight year old son and were shocked to see such a lackluster playground with no other amenities at all for children. What a shame. For such gorgeous space, sell it to people that care and want to invest in creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere with some fun outdoor playscape for kiddos. 10/10 would NOT recommend this campground-especially if you are bringing a child or a dog with you.

This campground is very outdated. The employees have serious attitude problems and they are looking to grab an extra penny anyway they can. We have been coming here 15 years but this may have been the last based on how horrible the management behaves and treats people who are paying to keep their gates open. Maybe a smile would be nice it is a campground after all you’d think they’d have a little bit of a smile to their guests

This large, very old park is located about 5 miles from Frankenmuth. The sites are large with both back in and pull through full hook up sites. Set in a forest of large trees, a mix of evergreen and deciduous trees. The bathhouse is dated and cleaned regularly. The pay showers are $0.25 for 4 minutes. You can not regulate the flow or temperature and we found it to be too hot at first. There appear to be many seasonals at the back of the park.

We stayed for a baseball tournament and had a great time. They proactively called us since we were arriving after hours, which was extremely helpful. Bath house was clean, sites well kept, and we'll be back.

Such a beautiful campground. But it has the worst management team ever. From not being able make a reservation more than 30 days out to arguing with campers about " added costs". After over 25 years if bi-annual visits, ( spring and fall) I give up. Pity really. But life goes on and I will gladly spend my money somewhere else.

We love the location, grounds & amenities. Staff are always courteous & professional. My wife and I were seasonal this past year and enjoyed the atmosphere. They're closing for the season this week, so we're packing up for now. I'm going to miss this place & the people. It was a great experience meeting new neighbors and celebrating the local festivities. Norm, the owner, has been the most gracious host! My best regards.

Loved the campgrounds themselves. No wifi, pool, etc is actually a plus as I’m used to boondocking/tent camping. Overpriced for what it is though, not to mention pay to shower, and $8 PER PERSON if any family in the area wants to stop by for lunch or something… The only staff member that was nice to interact with was the older gentleman in the office, everyone else seemed to hate their jobs. Everything was fine the first few days, then we left and came back after a couple days after having had to take care of something out of state. Hooked the camper up, and no water. We eventually got enough to get a trickle out of the faucets, and after a lot of messing with it, got somewhat of a flow. Still not enough pressure to even wash your hands. First guy that came out to look at it treated me like I was stupid (I can go over my background if you want…) and said it’s my trailer is the issue. Went back through everything and double checked/replaced strainers and filters, still nothing. Went out and bought a pressure gauge and hooked to the spigot (that was spewing water btw…) Lo and behold, low water pressure, and would bottom out as soon as a faucet in the camper was opened, and flow would drastically drop after 2 seconds. Next guy that came out again tried to blame my trailer also, until I showed him the gauge. Then it was “it’s city water. Not my problem, I don’t know what you want me to do about it.” Campground would be perfect if the staff was actually friendly and helpful. Looks like I’ll be slowly filling my fresh tank with the abysmal pressure for the rest of the time here so I don’t burn out my water heater.

We stayed July 4-6 2024 and this is a old school family campground just as I remember as a kid. The service was friendly and efficient and seemed fairly clean although showing its age. 50/30/20/15 amp service and water with sewer at ever site and conveniently located in the middle of the sights reachable without extensions. The site was fairly level. The only thing that could be improved is the height of the sewer compared to most trailers once part was a bit out of level. It was quiet with old growth trees for good shade and felt secluded although just minutes from Frankenmuth. The price was very reasonable for the accommodations.

Roads are narrow with trees making for a challenging experience if you have a big rig.. Cool thing is that it has a working oil well at the entrance Was only a couple of minutes from General RV in Birch Run as we took our new 5'r in for warranty repair. They only take reservations by telephone and rarely do they answer.

This was our first time at this campground, but it certainly won't be our last! It is a very clean and well kept no frills campground. A great place to go if you just want to relax and enjoy nature. The groundskeepers were extremely friendly and helpful for any questions that we had. The sites are all full hookup, which is a plus! Would definitely recommend this campground.

Stan was very kind and patient when I called to ask about availability and dates. He asked about my camper to help me figure out the best place to park our trailer. He even remembered when I called back the following day to book. I really appreciated the customer service. Thank you, Stan! A sweet lady checked us in and gave me the info for the camp. The front has a keypad gate and the exit has an automatic gate. I like that added feature. Firewood is available for purchase with free delivery. Camp sites are pretty spacious and leveled. They are unpaved but you can tell there is some gravel. Plenty of tall trees for shade and all amenities are centered in the middle so everyone has pretty much an equal distance. There are full hook ups that include sewer. The laundry mat had two washers and two dryers. One was out of order. There’s a playground with an old school slide that was nostalgic. My kids thoroughly enjoyed it! There is also half a basketball court which was pretty cool. A field surrounds the area so there’s plenty of space to run around. Overall, I thought it was an enjoyable stay that was affordable and family friendly. We will definitely come back if we are ever in the area again. Thank you Pine Ridge RV Campground!

Shaded sites. Lots of pull through. Clean and quiet. Nice facilities.
