It WAS a wonderful, family oriented, affordable campground. But that has changed. The new owners are not approachable. I see in comments below that they keep saying "change is difficult ". Um... it's not that change is difficult, it's that raising prices so high that it effectively evicts all seasonal campers is unconscionable. I had 2 campers there. It was great, my son could meet us there for a weekend of food, fires, boating and relaxation. No more! The rate increases meant an additional $3000 in fees in addition to the yearly premium, which also went up substantially! These people only care about the money. Many of us seasonal campers loved the campground and wanted to make it work, requesting a 3- 5 year plan so we had time to absorb these insane increases. Nope! They didn't want any part of working together. The owners have never owned a campground. They don't understand the community. So sad! This WAS a wonderful family campground. But like so many other things, it's now a CORPORATE oriented business. Money being the bottom line.

My experience will never happen after reading the numerous negative experiences reported by previous campers. There is no excuse for rude behavior by an owner or owner representative. Investments are needed continously when acquiring a property and to remain competitive, especially in a market that have seasonal closures. So increases can be expected provided the end results of the investment create added features. Change is difficult for long time customers, but change of attitudes will go a long way toward customer retention. No owner should take abusive customer behavior, but you better go the extra mile until you have earned their trust and business. In the meantime, I will be looking for alternatives when we travel this summer.

Is this the destination of the stars? You're glamping yourself out of the campground business! I'm not sure who's doing the math but is it 3 dollars a day for 365 days? We are only aloud 6 months? Plus 300 for off site parking for the other 6 months? What a sad revelation you are. The seasonal campers have been there 20 years plus! Your bread and butter! Hope your food camper pays the updates because all your seasonals are gonna be out of there! 3 night minimal stay for your glamping tent at 100 a night? You're in Endicott ny! Lol! You're out of touch with reality! Our rates doubled from 1750 to 3400! Ridiculous! Also there's no lake it's a pond! As a business owner in Endicott, I will be sure to spread the word!

As permanent campers here we loved it but now the new owners have taken over and the season hasn't even started and they have already ruined this previously family run campground! The new owners increased the rate which we were OK with but now we just found out they have franchised the park and that will cost us an extra $500 per person resort fee!!!! On top of that we can no longer keep our camper on site during the winters which is a huge issue for us as we do not have a truck with a fifth wheel hitch to haul it every season. We had our camper placed at our site thinking that it would just sit in that one spot and we wouldn't have to worry about it but we can no longer do that. The new owners definitely are just in it for the money and don't seem to care about the actual needs of the local campers who enjoyed spending time here! Edit: We were given a new increased seasonal rate for these new amenities but now it’s an additional $500 per person on top of that increased rate! Along with that if we don’t agree with these new charges we have to pull our camper out by March 15th which is ridiculous given that it’s still winter.

Very beautiful campground. Clean bathrooms and very Serene. Gorgeous pond. Check in with Bonnie was nice. Unfortunately the guy was rude to me twice during our stay and we left a day early so as to avoid further harassment. It was 89 degrees and my dog was hot. When I wasn’t looking she scratched the surface grass to stay cool on dirt. The second I noticed it I told her to stop and she didn’t do it again. Next morning I awake to a knock on camper door step outside and get yelled at this must be fixed by us by using sod and threatened that if the dog does it again he will throw us out. We chalked it up to he was having a bad day. Every right to be upset, every right to say something to us….it’s the WAY he said it. He then intentionally threw our dog bowls and blew grass all over our rug. We packed up and left to avoid further problems. We would have come back year after year but now we can’t. We filled in hole before we left and paid for the repair with no problem (actually more than they asked for). Again it wasn’t that we were talked to about it that upset us it was how we were talked to about it (in a hostile, angry, threatening manner).
