Pinehurst Campground is an absolute gem! From the moment we pulled in, we felt welcomed and at ease. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure guests are comfortable and enjoying their stay. The sites are spacious, well-maintained, and surrounded by beautiful trees, giving just the right mix of nature and privacy. The campground is very family- and RV-friendly, with clean restrooms, hot showers, and great amenities. We loved the peaceful atmosphere, but it’s also close enough to Old Orchard Beach and local attractions if you want to explore. It’s the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. If you’re a Thousand Trails member or just looking for a spot to camp in Maine, Pinehurst is definitely a must-visit. We can’t wait to come back! The campground has a beautiful staff that really cares about everyone’s happiness and comfort and safety. They have a great new manager while he was so attentive and kind just really kind. I’m very grateful for everyone at Pinehurst campground and their vibe that makes you want to return your after year? I was in Portland sailing and just started my encore membership and Thousand Trails membership with my trailer being on the other side of the country but everyone made me feel welcome as I search for something over here or to travel with my van, but everyone was really happy at the grounds and they provided lots of activities like pool parties, music, and bingo. The grounds again were very maintained really well and everything was in a short distance around the park to meet all of your needs, including buying lobster at the corner.

Pulled in grass not cut has a 25 year old manager kids flying around on electric scooters had to be fly at least25 most i park kid driving galf carts also do over speed limit , setting in hot tub then got bomb bearded by 8 little kid ages 5 to 8 jumping into the hot tub no parents no management pool said no diving into pool guess what there was . No drinks glass in pool o yes there is . Cars trucks driving down the wrong way on a one way street. Seasonal campers at this campground do whatever they want like they own the park . Campers come in at dark and no person to show them how to get into there lot .the worst place I have camped at in years.

We so enjoyed our stay here. Staff was super friendly and helpful, as well as all the other guests + neighbors we met. Laundry room is updated + clean - can pay + track time on an app. Location is close to old orchard beach with tons of things to do day or night + fireworks on summer Thursdays. Or a quick drive to Portland Maine, Thompson Point, Lighthouses - amazing eateries, great live music, shopping, and more!

Great location, three pools and a hot tub, only a half a mile from the beach in the trolley will pick you up in the campground and bring you there so you don’t even have to pay to park. Very clean and nice people. Super dog, friendly!

We stayed there a week last year but only 1 night this past weekend. We really like this place. Great location and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Just a poorly run place. Customer service is non-existent. Park is run down. Power and water go out all the time. Internet is horrific. Do yourself a favor and choose ANY of the other parks in the area.

Would not recommend this campground. Sites are dirty, old, and need a ton of maintenance. The pavement and speed bumps are a nightmare; cracked and pot holes throughout. When we got to our site, it had not been prepped or cleaned after the previous people had left. We had booked the site a month beforehand with plenty of time for the site to be cleaned and when we showed up management simply said “we would have had it ready had we known you were coming today”. Keep in mind we booked a seasonal spot and came weeks AFTER they opened to park our camper. When we got to our site, the spot where a camper used to be was all dirt, weeds were growing out from the few spots gravel was remaining, and we were finding huge decking screws for months all around our site. After the first rainfall when we got there, our site was completely flooded. We couldn’t step out of our camper without our feet being completely submerged in water. We made management aware and the campground refused to add stones / assist with flooding because it was our responsibility now that it was “our site”. The campground stated more stones were not in their budget and we would have to pay for the stone out of pocket. We came in contact with a few of the front desk staff who were very rude as well. ** also do not believe any of the amenities listed in the website. There is always a pool that has closed / being fixed and the gym is closed and we were told they have no current plans of having it re-open! Anywhere else in OOB is better than this place

Very noisey, hearing the F word all the time. Vehicles, even golf carts were going well over the speed limit. Seems like the seasonal were running the place. Huge fight across from us. Sites weren't kept up. Our fire pit was never cleaned out. Never going back.

Great pools and fairly close to the beach but there seems to be no speed enforcement or rules. Feared for my kids lives. Speed limit says 7 and you’re lucky if people were going 15. In fact, they were rude as can be when we were upset about the speeds going by our camper. I’m a seasonal at a campground in NY and I can’t even imagine driving the way these people do. Store was lame. Barely open and didn’t have many amenities. Loved the lobsters right outside the campground. Came on Thousand Trails. Would never pay money to actually come here.

Basically a live in seasonal park. Small streets and not 5th wheel back in friendly. We got a lot where the electric and water were on one side and the sewer was on the wrong side. A mix of new units and very old permanently placed units. I would not recommend for one night stop. The reason for three stars was the friendly people up front, the help placing the unit.

Nice campground and friendly people. See lobster Dan outside park entrance for 10 to 15.00 lobster fully cooked.

Older trailer park that needs freshing up. Wasn't bad but lots of older trailers and infrastructure. Pools where nice and clean. Not many things or programs going on. Pretty quite. Needs drainage fix. Site was swamped after rain.

Tonight is our last night here but really enjoyed our stay. Good location to the beach, Portland, there is even a couple places to eat and drink within walking distance. Park was maintained well. When we first arrived the spot we were put on I didn’t care for since we travel with dogs and was all rocks around. Thankfully the maintenance team Paul and afraid I didn’t catch the other gentleman’s name found us another great spot. Tonight probably pushed me from 4 to 5 stars. A storm came suddenly, harsh, dumped a ton of rain, and gone in 5 minutes. Unfortunately in that 5 minutes broke my awning arm. I called to see if they thought a maintenance person could help us come up with any ideas what to do. They sent us Paul who was awesome. He went and got a ladder and few extra tools (we had some) he along with my sister who is handy as well were able to get it rolled up and zip tied for security. This says a lot about a park that just doesn’t say “not our issue” Hugs thank you to Paul as we are scheduled to leave in the morning

Stayed 6 nights and the campground met or exceeded our expectations. Staff answered any questions we had with a smile. Everyone waved and the atmosphere was friendly. The site we were assigned was large, clean, and right on Maine Street. We used the pool(s) and they were maintained well and a good time. Enjoyed the parade through the campground on the weekend. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
