We had a great experience at The Pines of Kabetogama! We stayed there this past summer for a week. The property is very well maintained. The hosts were friendly and helpful with sightseeing tips. The location is perfect for visiting Voyagers Nat'l Park. Access to a boat is essential to see the most of the park, whether you rent your own or take a guided boat ride. We especially liked Ellsworth Gardens and the Lodge. We liked being on the lower level near the water. The higher sites had a better view but no shade.

Our family stayed at The Pines recently and the experience was one of the best we’ve had on a vacation. The cabin was well-appointed and very clean. You can tell they take pride in making sure guests are happy and comfortable. We had everything we needed when it came to amenities and comfort. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel like VIPs with how they treated our family. The location was amazing and having easy access to the waterfront and boat rentals made our stay that much better. Renting a pontoon let us explore Lake Kabetogama and the areas of Voyageurs NP that we’d otherwise not be able to get to. The icing on the cake is the northern lights we got to see over the lake. I highly recommend staying at The Pines and look forward to a return trip!

Everything was amazing!!! The amenities they offer are top notch!!! We enjoyed ourselves so much!!! We stayed up on top of the cliff at site #8 in our travel trailer the site was awesome plenty of space and the views were breathtaking!! We stayed a total of 5 nights enjoyed a golf cart rental and then rented a pontoon boat and spent a day on the amazing Kabetogama Lake and traveled the amazing Voyagers National Park. OMG the views of the sky at night are so out of this world!! Breathtaking!!! 😍 I can't say enough good things about this place. We stayed here while traveling across the United States in our 36ft Motorhome and WOW!!! What a beautiful spot. We were greeted right away with instructions. I went in the office to check in and Jason the owner of the property was so nice. He told me a little bit about the area and offered to take us on his private boat for a tour of the Voyageurs NP which didn’t realize but that is really the only way to see a lot of it. The tour was the highlight of our trip for sure!! Jason really went out of his way to make the day very pleasurable. And we were able to take our dog too. There were some small but nice hiking trails behind the property. We were on the hilltop area which I would highly recommend. Only issue with that is the road to the top is VERY steep and not in the best condition but worth it. Super fun time!!

We had a great, but peaceful time at The Pines. We were up on the hilltop (yes, you will be able to get up that hill!) and had a great site with great views. We had previously scheduled a boat tour at Voyager's NP, and we're unhappy when it was cancelled. That ended up to be our advantage because we signed up for two tours offered at The Pines. Jason took us on a Sunset cruise which was awesome, and later in the weekend on a 6 hour historical cruise boat tour that was very enjoyable and educational. He sure knows his history of the area. Staff were all very friendly. We would not think twice about returning if ever back in the area.
