I have been camping at Pinewood Lodge for many many years and they have made some really great improvements to the campground recently! Very well maintained, spacious wooded sites, clean facilities! I highly recommend it!

This is my absolute favorite campground, Ive been coming here for more than 20 years. This is a family run business and you can tell they love what they do. The camp sites are spacious and the bathrooms are very clean. They also have washers/dryers available which is super convenient. I have stayed on campsites and have also rented cabins and the cabins are comfortable and clean. The campground itself is clean and very family friendly. I havent had any issues with rowdy party people and quiet hours seem to be respected which is nice for families with little kids. They have a food truck now which is great, it's convenient and right next to the beach so you can get a snack while soaking up some sun. The foods really good and they also offered specialty cocktails. Some campgrounds I have been to are run down, but this campground isn't at all. They recently updated their pavilion area with high top tables and adirondack style chairs, which were really great when we were listening to the band they had playing. They had some outdoor games like giant jenga, which was fun. We also rented a row boat which was cheap and a lot of fun. 10 out of 10 recommend.

We had such a wonderful stay at Pinewood Lodge! The campground is beautifully maintained and offers the perfect mix of relaxation and fun. The sites are spacious, clean, and surrounded by nature, giving you that true camping experience while still having great amenities close by. The staff was friendly and welcoming, always ready to help or answer questions, which made our stay even better. The lodge itself has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the grounds are filled with activities for both kids and adults. Between the lake, fishing, and all the recreational options, there was never a dull moment. What we loved most was the sense of community—families gathering, kids making new friends, and everyone enjoying the outdoors together. Even on rainy days, it was still enjoyable, and we made memories that we’ll cherish for years. If you’re looking for a campground that has it all—beautiful surroundings, great amenities, and a friendly atmosphere—Pinewood Lodge is the perfect place. We can’t wait to go back!

Pinewood Lodge is a really great place to camp. I've stayed here in a tent as well as in a camper, both sites were very nice, buggy as can be expected. There are a few areas with playgrounds and rec for kiddos. The function room is highly overpriced from what I'm told, they want $6,000 per event. As far as using it for everyday recreation it is a nice space, they have a pool table though it is not well kept. The view is very nice from the deck for a picnic or a game. The only dismay I have about the campground is that the pond is highly overgrown with eutrophication which makes it less desirable to use for swimming, I would recommend water shoes at all times and some type of flotation device that you can lean on like a boogie board so your feet don't have to touch the muck. The sand beach is a nice spot to read a book and enjoy the sun. Other than that Pinewood is in a great location near restaurants, markets, the beach and very close to downtown Plymouth which is beautiful.

Spacious, clean sites with convent proximity to bathhouses. The facilities and campground are clean and well maintained. The staff is helpful and friendly. There are plenty of amenities within the camp such as canoe/kayak rentals, a well-stocked camp store, and a communal space (lodge) that has board games, books, with a few arcade games. The location is great, with proximity to historical sites, dining, a grocery store, and the city of Boston.
