Once the Spring buds make way for the canopy brought by trees', the fauna and truly fills in and gives anyone looking for a small bit of Peace and Quiet a place to rest their head. Highly recommend.

Very nice campground with great amenities. Would definitely stay again. Only complaint is the GPS directions they sent us in the email confirmation brought us to the wrong campground. Was very hard to find our reservation.

I always enjoyed my stays in pinewoods campground the camping spots are spacious and some are very private ,the bathrooms/showers are some of the best I've personally been to water is always nice and hot, fyi this is a part of the state Park system so there is a fee I believe it's 8 or 9 for a day pass and 28 ish for the yearly sticker and the camping spots themselves have an added cost to the as well this time around I paid around 25 ish taxes and all per day a good deal IMO will be coming back no doubt the camp host are great too very nice people.

I'm not big on campgrounds in general. I prefer the seclusion of solo backpacking, but we decided to do a family camping trip for my birthday. Our site (288) was well separated from our neighbors, and backed up to the Scuppernong hiking trails adjacent to the campground. Our site was huge! It could easily accommodate 4 or 5 large tents, and had trees well spaced enough for 3 or 4 hammocks as well. Pit toilets across the street were clean and well stocked... The only negative to our trip was that the camp host's wood / ice could no longer be paid for with cash. He had a QR code linked to a payment site, but there was no cell signal at the camp host location. I had to drive out to the park entrance to get signal, pay, then return to show the receipt in order to get my bundles of wood... at a cost of $8 for 6 or 7 pieces of wood. I'd suggest buying from one of the local residences instead.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds in Southeast Wisconsin. It feels like you're in Northern Wisconsin without the long drive. The bathrooms and showers are always clean and up to date. There are lots of hiking trails in the area, and Ottawa Lake isn't too far away with a beach to swim in. I highly recommend camping here.

If your looking for heavy woods and mud around the fire ring and a small area where your going to camp then this is the spot for you. Not many trails. Very low trees for pulling a camper at 12’ Scraped up the top of are camper roof on loop two on the main road. Volunteer host was very nice and helpful. Dump site is very tight for a 29’ camper.

Aw too bad Eagle WI police are waiting for Illinois campers on Rte 67, to issue bogus and costly tickets in a speed trap. Beware!
