This is such a cool park. It's about an hour from my home but I'll definitely find time to go back and hike around and explore. It was cool to see the elk And loved all the bird inspired names of the lodges and then to hear all the woodpeckers up in the trees!

Beautiful park in the fall. Lots of trails, wooded hollows, roaming deer, and rippling streams. There's a tall observation tower on a hill with a great view. Canoe rentals and camping available in the summer. Some decent climbs and descents for a semi-vigorous hiking workout. Have seen bluebird in the Spring.

Such a beautiful park with nice paved trails throughout. Camp sites are great with many different options on where you want to be. Also has cabins. The only thing I would do to improve is add a beach.

Even though parts were flooding, it is beautiful. Water went down and they opened places up.

This is my happy place! Such a beautiful, well maintained park with beautiful trails, clean facilities, peaceful water views, plenty of picnic tables in various areas and awesome playgrounds.

Great county park with playgrounds for kids, fishing spots, canoe & pedal boats to rent. Fun for a family. Did not camp at the campgrounds but it looks very welcoming.

My husband and I got married here in September 2023. It was absolutely beautiful. The bathrooms were clean, And it was dog friendly. And the people that work there helped us move a picnic table that we couldn't move ourselves.

We went to watch the flower moon rise. The park is partially flooded but the roads in and out we're good last night. Not sure how things look today after much rain. We saw a heron, an eagle , raccoons and we saw a doe run off to nap after having her baby. All in all it was a magical time. Star gazing . Down side:The light on the bridge attract bugs at night.

A wonderful county park that has a camp ground. Two different playground areas. Paved trails for running or walking. Trails for hiking in the woods or running on. A place to rent boats. This winter they are holding a winter gnome hunt where you can try and find 10 different gnomes hiden along the horseshoe trail. The gnomes will be at this park until jan 30th before the move onto a different park for the next month.
