Was a great place. Nice amenities and very social community. Left and came back and they wouldn't allow us to stay this time because we had a Shepard. Was very disappointed 😞. Sad they stereotyped a specific bread of dog. Not a dog problem it's an owner problem... Would have given 4 stars.

The RV park had a great vibe! As soon as we arrived, many of the other RVs came over to greet us and introduced themselves. Lots of activities to stay busy.

We stayed at Pioneer Creek RV Resort, with our Travel Trailer, for 4 seasons, starting in 2018. We loved it! The people is what made it so great! We met some lifelong friends there. It was an older park, with less amenities than other parks, but, it was the people that we returned for. The manager we had at the time was fantastic! She would listen to people and work hard to implement concerns from the residents, whether full-time, or seasonal. Obviously, she was sooo good, they promoted her to another, larger park. What’s happened to the park since, is just heartbreaking. The managers that were hired next were abysmal. Besides being completely incompetent, they ran off some of the longest residents that we knew about. One couple, in particular, were community favorites. They were the heart of the park. All because they had some dissenting voices (so much for living in America). Because of that, we have not returned. If they could do that to two of the sweetest people, imagine what they could do to anyone (I’m a nice guy, but, best not to push me with stupid stuff… ha!). Well, that management couple was fired, for obvious reasons. So, they hired another couple, with high hopes of bringing the park back together. So high was the hope, that some of the long term residents, even though they were forced out before, returned and bought different Park Models to try again. It didn’t take long for the new management to start failing completely. And, in the end, just forced out more long term residents, including the ones that, in good faith, came back to try it again. Nope. They’ve been told their agreements will not be renewed for the next season. For us, it’s mind boggling… these are some of the SWEETEST people you will ever meet! This is NOT how you run a small, older park, without the competing amenities! You need that solid core of wonderful residents that consider that home, to welcome new people to the park, to overcome the lesser aspects! We were going to go back the following season, in 2022, and buy a park model to create a permanent residence (we were in the process of selling our Travel Trailer). We heard about the horrible management, and hesitated (we don’t travel south until the first of January, to get through all the holidays). When that management couple was fired. We again, debated on giving it another shot the next year. Then, it just blows up again. That’s twice. For us, that’s two too many times for our comfort. Why would we buy a home there, only to have some horrible (transient, I might add!) managers “decide they don’t like you” for whatever reason. And, you’re out of your home!! So, in the end, we settled in Arizona. In our opinion, the parks are much nicer, with full amenities. We fear that the quaint little Pioneer Creek RV Resort won’t survive all these horrible management couples who tear it, and its residents, apart, only to leave destruction in their wake. We wish the current residents much luck in their plight. Unfortunately, because of all this, we have been brought here to leave this review.

Curt and I can’t say enough good about this RV park. The grounds are well taken care of and there is plenty to do! We really appreciate the dog park that provides a place for our fur baby to run and play with his puppy friends.

We lived on the road for 3 years now and we stopped at this one in between a couple of thousand Trails campgrounds we were going to. What a pleasant surprise. It's $40 a night to stay and we were here for a week but between the pleasant conversations with so many people in the park and how well it was kept along with the fact it was even quiet in the evening being not too far from highway 27 made this well worth every penny. Definitely a place if you're looking to stop for a week or even 6 months as many do. Just so many nice people and will kept Park. All the amenities you need from a big laundry facility to shuffleboard and other normal activities. And of course a very nice, clean warm pool.
