I'm stuck here for the week because I can't move until Sunday due to work, unfortunately, otherwise I would have just immediately left upon arriving. My check in paperwork was not where it was supposed to be, I had to call the after hours number and they gave me what has got to be the hardest to navigate my camper into spot that I've ever had to pull into after asking for information about my camper that they ALREADY HAD because I not only had a reservation but I had also talked to someone in the office last week before making the booking. Not only is the spot incredibly small and impossible to pull forward into fron the small one way behind it, but it's also directly across from a power pole on the other side that really decreases the area to maneuver a truck in order to back a camper trailer in. The roads are incredibly narrow and packed, while trying to circle around to see if I COULD pull through instead of backing in I couldn't make a turn around someone's car parked in their own driveway, and had to back out and circle around. Idk what the point of one way roads are here, because I'm still sitting in my truck after FINALLY winning the struggle to back into this godawful spot and there's been at least two vehicles driving out the wrong way. I've been here for less than an hour and I would be GONE if I didn't have to wait until the end of my work week. Also, yesterday I got the notification that this place doesn't even have working showers or toilets in their bathhouse rn. Something that MAYBE they should have thought to notify me about upon booking. Seriously, this is the worst RV park experience of my life and, I want to reiterate, I've been here for less than an hour. I cannot wait to leave. Update: it's 930 pm, I'm trying to sleep, and it sounds like some dogs were fighting in one of the trailers nearby or something and MY dog is now very upset about it. 🙃 Update # 2: Was woken up just after 5 by more dogs losing their minds, and again around 6. And at 750 am, a train loudly passes. This is not a place to relax or unwind. I'm working, so I can handle it for a few days, but if this was a vacation I would be pissed.

Great place to live and visit. Large club house. Nice pool, spa, dog friendly with a park. Sprawling grounds in Beautiful North Fort Myers surrounded by beautiful oaks and palm trees. My only complaint is the landscapers they use now don't have a high work ethic. They don't edge around the drive was. They came this past Tuesday, left after they mowed without blowing the grass off the driveway and my back porch concrete area as well. The company they had before the current one they're using now in July 2025 was better. They took pride in their work. This group doesn't .

The roads are a little small, but once you get your RV on site, they seem to have a lot of fun going on there something always going at the clubhouse

Office staff is rude!! Place is a dump .. stinks, looks horrible. Seen a man climbing through the dumpsters… more than once! Always getting alerts that the water, electric, pool, bathrooms ect. are being “worked” on. I bought my nephew a trailer in the back to live in as permanent residence.. worst experience!!! Had it up for sale (paying the lot rent the entire time as it sat empty) the office staff gave me the run around & denied every buyer (without explanation) SAVE YOUR MONEY & TIME!!!! Realtor and office staff hate each other …. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!! Don’t be fooled by the old, nice pictures on the website!

Trash. We have a 32 ft RV and it was a mission to go through the streets. Parking was door to door. A bunch of cars just parking on the side of the streets, making it more of a mission to park. Park looks abandoned and dirty. Luckily we were just parking the RV without having to stay there. Otherwise, we would’ve turned right back around.

We told this RV park the size of our equipment when we booked through thousands trails so they had this info before our arrival however as you can see in the photos posted the site they assigned us I could not even get to. Our 5th wheel and truck could not get past the tree and even if we managed to do that, the site we were assigned would not have had any room to extend our 3 slides. We went to the office and a maintenance lady whom was very nice, came and escorted us to a site we could fit in (Although Barely). Park is unorganized and sites are too close. A few days later when the weather was better we ventured out with out St Bernard for a walk and This long term tenant in one of the mobile homes on the property came outside and headed towards us in a aggressive manner. Yelling about our dog peeing on her grass. I know this is a subject of debate about dogs using the bathroom and we are good dog owners we are always ready to clean up after him and he is friendly. We meant no disrespect but she was aggressive so we walked away yelling she was complaining to the Park office. So that is what she did and not to mention a neighbor the night before having a mental breakdown and me needing to usher my kids inside because they were scared of this guy. So my wife gets on the phone with Thousand Trails, Which is who we booked this park with and she was talking to the manager who stated that we are a problem starting with us having to switch sites because we couldn't fit. That wasn't our fault and of course this lady was up front complaining. Although I'm sure she never mentioned her aggressiveness towards park guests. This park treats guests differently depending on how you arrive and pay. Thousand Trails guests are not treated the same way and a long term lease guest. Its disappointing. Thousand trails has been great and moved us to another park right away that's much nicer. If your a Thousand Trails member there are much better encore parks in the south Florida area.

The roads are very narrow. I am glad they escorted us to our spot. It was tough to get in. It’s like a trailer park and they squeeze RVs in between them. The staff is amazing. Everybody here is so nice they’re still cleaning up after the hurricane. But it is a nice quiet place. I have not heard no noise from the road at all and my dogs are really enjoying the dog park. Will try it again next year.

No open fires allowed, no picnic table at our site, very narrow roads and extremely tight spaces (33 ft Class C barely made it through). No wifi access included- and all this for a mere $90/night. You will be within touching distance of your neighbors, too because they've squeezes as many sites as possible in. It's bad. Florida resident more than 22 years and have camped all over this state- Pioneer Village rates as my worst experience.

It’s a trailer park but it’s clean, safe, quiet, staff and residents are kind and there is a sense of community. Enjoyed my stay and would return if I’m in the area again.

I'm really not sure how this place has a 4.0 review as I would not come here again. The park is in a bad location, far from anything to do ( 45 mins from the beach, easy), and it looks like a rough part of town as we saw cops at the gate and a huge sign saying "Community Watch" as you enter. When we arrived they had put us (36' 5th wheel) in a spot that was too narrow for our rig as well as having a hornets nest in the electrical box. Only staying one night, I took a larger spot that I could fit in, not sure why they didn't give me that in the first place as I asked 4 people around that lot if it was taken, they all said it's not a seasonal and I should park there, which I did. When I tested the 50amp, my Hughes Autofomer lit up red, and you all know what that means. Just so happens the maintenance man was there, really nice guy, and told me to plug in next to it because nobody was there, which I did. Thank god this was for one night. Oh, did I tell you guys there's a train that runs through there every few hours? If you need a one day layover, try it, any longer than that, don't.

Ended up at this RV park by default when we had major problems at their sister encore resort in Fort Myers Beach. The experience didn't start out great but ended on a positive note. Price: $53 per night full hook up 50 amp including resort fee and tax. Offers Good Sam & Thousand Trails discounts. Reduced rates for longer stays. Monthly stays don't include water and electric.Arrived just before dusk to find the office already closed. There had been mention that this might be the case when their sister site made the reservations but we were told that there would be information and someone to escort us to our site to ensure we had no issues (see my review on Fort Myers Beach encore resort for details of our BIG issues there!). No escort was to be found when we arrived. Checked the welcome box and found that a number of other visitors had pre-made packets waiting for them with info about the facility but nothing for us. To find our assigned site, I had to canabalize a map from someone else's packet in order to navigate to our spot. Assigned spot of D216 A (which turned out to be D2 - 16A...may seem small detail but on these tiny maps with poor markings and in an unfamiliar large park it can mean a great deal) was far too small for our 35 ft. Class A rig even though reservation was made as a 40 ft. rig. There was a large tree and a short very rotund palm tree so close that we would not have been able to open our slides had we been able to get our rig safely parked. Additionally, someone had parked a large SUV across the front of the space and none of the neighboring occupants claimed the vehicle or to know to whom it belonged. With the help of a lovely resident who could see our exhaustion, we simply chose another spot nearby the suited our needs...management and planning be damned at this point, we were done. We easily parked and hooked up in space D3-17. Found everything we needed but were surprised not to find cable hookups. We were pleased with the concrete pad...though others around us had badly cracked and buckling ones, ours was smooth and flat and in good shape. Our picnic table had seen better days but it was sufficient for our needs. The next morning we were VERY PLEASANTLY surprised to find a cheerful and helpful staff of two very nice young women working the office. Holly and Rose patiently listened to what we had done and to our tale of woe from the sister site, assured us there was no problem with our having parked overnight in a different site and further assured us that we could stay in the new spot as long as we liked no matter whether it had been booked for someone else or not because of the mess we'd been through. Holly further went on to provide all kinds of great info about what was available to see and do in the area as well as information on shopping and restaurants. She also mentioned that she felt we would likely be so happy with our spot and neighbors that we'd be back to extend our time with them for an additional week at a discounted price. Turned out she was right. We loved it and stayed an additional week for a total of 13 days. We found the park to be appropriately quiet during quiet times and loaded with activity other times. If you like to get involved, this park has plenty of opportunity for that including a great pool. If you like your time laid back, ask for a space back around where we were. Most of the time things are quiet there - except at about 7:14pm and again around 9:15pm when the local dinner train rolls by on the tracks.If you need Wi-Fi at your campsite, the back of the park is not the place to be. Even with multiple servers the signal from any of them is just not strong enough. If you're flexible you can always head to the cabana at the pool or the community areas with your laptop/table and surf. We used our Verizon Hotspot instead with no problems though.We'd stay again if in the area (oh, and be sure to check out the Bald Eagles just up the road if you are in the area - Ozzy and Harriett can be through their eagle cam Notes: if you have a large rig of any kind, be sure your backing up skills are good as these are all back in sites and can be a little tight. Ask for a space larger than you really need. If you must have wifi at your rig ask to be closer to the front of the park as coverage is pitiful near the back where we were. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
