Beautiful treed area with lots of easy trails, close river access

The park is stunning and really well looked after. We already have another weekend booked and I will be booking ahead for next summer. I love that there is no cell service in the park. Disconnecting is what camping is all about. Tyler the care taker is kind and a very hard worker.

Been coming here for the last 4 yrs. LOVED IT THE PAST 2 YRS! BUT This last weekend was terrible. Place has gone down hill. Like no rules. 20 plus people on some sites. Hooting and hollering 730 am to midnight. One of the double site had 8 tents and a camper, about 15 people on it. The bathrooms were disgusting, shower house closed on Sunday. Garbage was piling up and o room in them in the camp ground. Beers cans laying around , garbage on sides of road. Seen camp attendant twice in 3 days.. no other help, just him. Garden s are def. not as nice... just seems like a party place now. Unfortunately...

A beautiful place to go camping and disconnect ! There you find free firewood, 10 minutes away you find the village and you can buy food or whatever you want ! The hiking is beautiful ! It was a very nice time ! Keep in mind that you run out of cell phone signal. There are playgrounds for children and common picnic areas ! Showers are hot and very clean.

It is a great place to go hiking, walk the river or go for picnics also camping there is alot of things to see even mother nature..

Pipestone is a wonderful campground they have a new people looking after the park this year and they are doing a good job after a late spring getting things up and running. They need to make there signs bigger when they close a road so you can read it without getting out of your vehicle several people had to backout with the trailer on not easy thing to do. The sites are a good size the playground for kids is large and they have a large area for avery one too play soccer or frisbee etc. My son's family go there almost every weekend during the camping season and we camp there several times each year. I recommend it. Oh one thing there is no cell reception or Wi-Fi so bring some DVDs for rainy days.

Had a wonderful time exploring Pipestone. Saw 2 trumpeter swans flying river over the river - enjoyed the peace and tranquility of nature.

By far the best family campground in the Peace Region. Huge park, lots of grass field for activities. Close to the river, great hiking opportunities for all ages. Spacious campsites with power to quite a few of them. Current caretakers are amazing. Would recommend it to anyone.

We had an amazing time. The park is fantastic and the campsites are clean and well maintained. I was pleasantly surprised with the showers, clean and good water pressure. The walking trails and areas to explore are a great escape from the city. I also love that there is no cell service!

As good as camping can get in alberta. A secluded park lots of activities, walking trails, and a big old river running right through.
