We had a great time camping here! It was quiet, everyone was very friendly, and its location makes getting to lots of great hiking places (state parks, Pipestone Monument, etc.) convenient, and the town center is an easy walk. Not all the reservable sites are super secluded, but folks are respectful of their neighbors, so we didn't have any issues. The campground Wi-Fi was great, which is not always the case 👌Highly recommend!

Terrible place. It's not rural at all. Exploration is non existent and any service was (if any at all) was horrific. Bathrooms are shared so if you're a lady be ready to pee beside a guy or multiple. Keep driving past to the next. You'll thank me later.

We have been coming to this campground for years and this current owner is by far the best we've gone through past owners would be on your case for such minor things. So if you find issues with neighbors while staying here than you need to inform Ashley as the saying goes she can't smell it if no one tells her!!!!! She can't have someone casing the place 24/7 good grief people!! With regards to the pool it's fixed!!

I never leave reviews, good or bad. I usually just keep my mouth shut and move on after a bad experience. I can't help it this time. The campground is in a great location right next to Pipestone National Monument. It seemed very clean and well maintained. All of the RV's there were nice and new with nice, new vehicles pulling them. There were lots of kids playing and it seemed friendly, family oriented, maybe it usually is. I didn't realize when I booked it months ago that the county fair would be going on this weekend. Maybe that attracted the crowd that woke me up at 1 am slamming their camper door shut every 3 minutes, yelling, screaming, underage drinking, inappropriate interactions with minors, repeated vomiting right next to my camper, etc, etc. It sounded like a UFC fight was being held inside their camper... flooring stomping, jumping, walls being punched, the door flying open and people spilling out every few minutes. I've stayed at A LOT of campgrounds, this was the worst experience by far. This was the first time I've ever considered driving off in the middle of the night, but I was afraid to unplug my power cable. I even considered driving off and just yanking it from their pedestal. I was literally hoping someone else had called the police and they would be showing up at any minute. I was also running through my mind how I would react to different possible scenarios, expecting anything to happen at any moment. I'm all for people having a good time and even getting a little wild, but this was an unacceptable level of scary for several hours in the very early morning. This was probably a rare occurrence from what I gathered, but if you stay here, understand that you're rolling the dice. No camp host, owner, or anyone, did anything to control these people. And it was actually a lot worse than my description relays. I would avoid.

OK for a quick overnight. Park is in need of a refresh which owners are currently working on.

The staff was helpful, attentive, and easy to work with. Ashley was so helpful and willing to work with your needs. There is plenty of room at the sites. Although small (4,200) there is a lot to see and do, in this beautiful Minnesota town of Pipestone. You have to go to the Pipestone National Monument, beautiful and spiritual.

We were traveling across country in our travel trailer and when we pulled into their campground they had recently been inundated with heavy rain. Quite a few of their sites were flooded. They went out of their way to accommodate us and the rest of our family who were arriving in two other RV's. The solutions were unique but they worked. Very nice, hardworking people and we thank them for working so hard to give us a place to spend the night.

Excellent campground in a great location. Walking distance to Fort with great shopping. Pipestone National Monument is a quick ride away. Clean bathrooms and great showers. HEATED pool was awesome. Owners are the nicest, most hardworking people. We had a leak in camper and the owner got a ladder out to help us identify the problem. We will be back the next time we are in the area. Their camp store is adorable too. Reasonable prices as well.

Beautiful campground! Very pet friendly and awesome activities for kids. Great pool my 3 boys played for hours. We got the H tent site- last one on the end. No electricity but doesn’t matter, as we ended up just making sandwiches the one night we stayed here. Cute store with lots of little things, candies and such. Little gifts as well. Unfortunately we are light sleepers and trains go by about every hour.

Here is a detailed review covering showers, RV spots, location, and customer service. The bathrooms did not make our stay pleasurable, but campground was great. RV Spots - 3/5 ⭐ Our spot was grass that you parked on. We were very close to another RV, enough to worry about our slide outs. Except for to our left, there was plenty of space around us to take our pets outside and enjoy the nature. Sites were pretty level. Customer Service 5/5 ⭐ Very easy to talk to and kind! They made our stay simple and easy, and lended us an adapter when we needed one. Truly amazing customer service! Showers - 1/5 ⭐ Oh boy.. the bathrooms were dirty/moldy and the pipes were exposed and rusted. Out of the three shower stalls in the women's bathroom, one of the drains were completely clogged and filled the dirty shower floor instantly. Another stall didn't have a door lock. Only the one in the middle worked. All the shower stalls were very tight, I don't see a way you could get a wheel chair in easily at all. I included photos of the bathrooms to this review. Location - 5/5 ⭐ Super easy walk to the beautiful Pipestone National Monument. The campgrounds were easy to navigate, and it was wonderfully dark at night to see the milky way. I included a photo of the campground map. All in all, if you don't have need of the showers, I would recommend staying here.

5 day stay. We’re first year retirees on our promised cross country road trip and have visited many RV parks in the last year and a half. This park is family friendly with organized, all ages, kick ball games, bubble parade in golf carts and movies by the pool. Fun snacks for the kids (and adults) sold in office. Great week or weekend get-a-way.

Pleasantly surprised to find this nice campground like in the middle of what seemed no where. Beautiful country atmosphere. Would have given 5 stars except for the fact the owner did not make herself available as she said she would knowing we were coming in late. She did not leave the check in paperwork, nor the space we were paying for & did not answer the phone as she said she would. We pulled into the only empty spot we could find since she said we had the last empty space. Overall satisfied our need for a good night's rest.
