Where do I even begin! Anglers Pointe is truly the most amazing place. We hosted our entire wedding weekend there, and it was nothing short of incredible. I’m originally from Pell City but have lived in Washington, D.C. since college. Even so, I always knew I wanted to get married at my childhood church in Pell City. With most of our guests traveling from out of town—my husband is from Texas—I needed to find a place that could comfortably host everyone, capture that cozy lake charm, and still be affordable. That combination isn’t easy to find! Enter Anglers Pointe. The moment I saw it, I could instantly envision hosting our entire wedding weekend there—something they had never done before—but I had complete confidence they’d pull it off beautifully. And they absolutely did. We booked out all the accommodations—tiny homes, bungalows, tents, everything—and had over 100 guests stay on-site. Everyone loved it. We hosted our rehearsal dinner at The Back Porch, our welcome party at The Frontier, and our wedding reception under a tent at The Yard. Other than the ceremony at my church, our guests never had to leave the property. They were able to relax by the lake, spend time together, and truly enjoy a full weekend celebration. The entire Anglers Pointe team went above and beyond, but I especially have to thank Andrea and Tina for making our wedding weekend a dream come true. They surprised us with welcome boxes for all our guests—a thoughtful, personal touch that everyone appreciated—and they were there the entire weekend making sure every detail was perfect. On our wedding night, we stayed in the wagon, and Andrea even decorated it (and our golf cart!) for us. It was the sweetest surprise! I wouldn’t change a single thing about our wedding. Anglers Pointe was the perfect place to bring all our favorite people together, and I can’t thank them enough for making it so special. They have such a bright future ahead of them, and I know this is only the beginning of many beautiful weddings to come. We can’t wait to come back!

The cottage was super clean, beautifully decorated, and conveniently located just a short drive from I-20. The space is designed so well to accommodate a family with children or, in our case, the perfect place for a girls’ weekend! The kitchen/living area is spacious and cozy, and the back porch/deck area with a lake view is definitely a nice added touch. I highly recommend and definitely will be back!

Angler's Pointe is a really nice campground. There is excellent wifi through out the grounds. All of the sites are spacious and have water and sewer hook ups. There are multiple types of sites through out the grounds. Covered rv sites with decks, cabins that look like tiny houses, glamping sites that look like covered wagons and regular rv spots. For the dogs there is 2 six foot fenced dog parks. There is no tent camping here.

My husband and I found this place to stay for a long weekend to go to the NASCAR Talladega races. We stayed in a king bungalow and it was very nice and clean. Nice deck off the back looking towards the water. The staff was great! Very friendly and accommodating. We had trouble with the internet on a Sunday evening and they came right out and reset it for us! Tina was so helpful! Would highly recommend!
