Thanks for asking about our stay at Pleasant Hill Campground Hermon, Maine. My husband and I and my 89 year old wheelchair bound Dad were seasonal campers. Dad enjoyed so much sitting in his wheelchair watching his 3yr old great great granddaughter learn to swim in their beautiful swimming pool, he could also see her bounce on the air pad as well as play on the playground. That was so wonderful. Unfortunately I shared that the owner said they don't heat it during the week only the week end. And that one day the other owner shared that the pool was 65° but the granddaughter and I still went swimming. Even though those were true statements from the owners, they didn't want any negative comments. So they terminated our 2026 seasonal contract. Makes me disappointed that true statements cost us our season lot next year. I feel especially sad for my Dad and his great great granddaughter. I was hoping they might change their minds. We did enjoy our stay other then this.

We stayed here earlier in the summer and I’ve been meaning to leave a review. The fairy forest has to be one of my all time favorite features I’ve ever experienced at a campground. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. All the amenities were well done, clean, free mini golf and popsicles all day. We will be back next year for sure. It’s close to family for us so we appreciate having this option.

My wife and I stayed at Pleasant Hill Campground this past weekend while we were in town for the rodeo, and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. The campground is peaceful, clean, and has such a welcoming vibe. Our cabin was cozy and comfortable. Michelle was an amazing host—so friendly and helpful, and she really made us feel right at home. You can tell she cares a lot about her guests and the campground itself. The band they booked for Saturday night rocked it! We had a great time and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Pleasant Hill to anyone visiting the area!

We have been coming to Maine campgrounds for over 20 years and have never experienced anything close to what Pleasant Hill offers ! The new owners have embarked on a mission to make this a family friendly , clean, respectful, camping experience for all. The folks we have met just this year are very welcoming and there’s a feeling of old time camping. Having experienced other local campgrounds. we can attest to the fact that this is the BEST by far! There is nothing negative to be said! Lovely place!

Wonderful cabin, peaceful and quiet. Super clean. Was pleasantly surprised the cabin had a small coffeemaker with pods, clean bedding and air conditioning. Pool was beautiful and clean. Free mini golf. Every week fun things to do Bingo, popcorn, live music, playgrounds. Shower & bathroom very clean. All STAFF were welcoming and friendly. Only thing I would change is to have a bathroom closer to cabin/tent area.

This campground is super friendly and feels like your camping with your best friends from the first day. Very kids orientated without going over the top.

Unlike Mr. ELMER CARROLL, my fiance and I had an absolute 100% amazing time at this "pleasant" camping facility. We stayed in the hexagon camp and I was so delighted with it, I squealed. The staff was phenomenal, over the top in all ways. Cleanliness was unbelievable. My fiance's family has been staying at the Bar Harbor Campground religiously since the 1970's and the new ownership there and their changes and rude staff made us "try" something else. And...we loved every minute of it. We will be back and make every recommendation possible. We will even inquire about both working there summer of 2025! All the way from Caribou, Maine. Kuddos for all your efforts, the people who want to see the positivity, will. The others like Mr. Carroll can go to Bar Harbor Campground, where it seems would match up perfectly.

We had an incredible stay at Pleasant Hill Campground! Coming from out of state, we were hoping for a relaxing and fun experience, and we got exactly that. The campground offers so much to do, with activities like live music and a challenging (but super fun!) putt-putt golf course that kept us entertained throughout our stay. The amenities were top-notch – everything was clean, modern, and well-maintained. The bathhouses were especially nice, and the pool was a perfect spot to cool off and relax. The whole campground was spotless, and the atmosphere was so welcoming and enjoyable. Highly recommend Pleasant Hill Campground for anyone looking for a clean, fun, and activity-filled getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

We only stayed 2 nights. I wish we could have stayed longer! We went with our grandchildren, ages 10 and 13. They loved it and want to go back next summer. The grounds were well kept and facilities very clean. Showers with hot water, a beautiful pool and deck, mini golf, and large jump pad all included!!! My only suggestion would be to install benches or shelves in the shower changing rooms. The staff was wonderful!! It was nice to see employees that are very pleasant and take pride in the work!!

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. You can tell the new owners have made lots of new improvements to the facility with more to come. The bathrooms and showers were cleaned daily and were very nice. The pool was very refreshing and crystal clear. They have a few different playgrounds for kids they also had a big inflatable bounce pad to jump on. 10/10 would recommend staying at pleasant hills campground.

Owner is dishonest and lies, paid for site in advance and cancelled due to family emergency well in advance according to “ their” policy.. Owner stated private company that handles “ his” reservations stated they couldn’t refund prepaid full amount and he had no control over them. Ask if I could just come and get reimbursed by him and he became rude and stated no. This owner must have financial problems to treat customers and keep money for in used services..Do not recommend staying at this camp ground a much nicer one is right up the road…

We had a very pleasant Electric/water (N11) site at Pleasant Hill campground. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The campground is older and the staff work hard to keep it up, but it does show its age. Some of the sites are quite close together. The tent sites are wonderful. The roads are a mixture of paved and Dirt. The bathrooms have recently been redone, and were fairly clean with ample hot water for showers. They have lots of play areas for children. wi-Fi and cable access cost extra. At least half of the campground is filled with full timers. The biggest drawback for this campground is that it is under the flight pattern for the Bangor Airport. Frequently, there are both military and commercial planes flying low and directly over which is quite noisy. This is a passport America campground, and for the member price, we were happy with our stay here

Real nice campground. EASY in and out. LARGE sites. Quiet, in the country. Sites have nice grass yard, just like home. Nice playground for kids. I'd definitely go here again!
