Went here to check it out to see if we wanted to bring RV sometime, called ahead to see if we could swim for the day. I went for an hour and a half and I paid $90, they would not let me look at it before we went and I misunderstood the price. Campground was full So we couldn’t spend the night. I know now why I could not view beforehand, because we wouldn’t have paid or stayed. Cool picture on line so we did it. Let Is use an empty camp site to have a picnic, but we could not put our tent up to stay?? Looks ok when you get down there it’s a clean and tidy beach. It’s a swamp basically and while I’m ok with a few weeds this was nuts and your feet sink in to the muck.its not really a lake it’s a place that’s been flooded by a dam. There is a small obstacle course set up. Was a small slide that landed in 2 ft of the only sandy part so they did use that. Nothing to do and the ice cream shop shut down early and the water craft had to be back by 5 and it already looked shut down no one around, so we never bothered. The playground was nothing when we were there. Not a pretty campsite, it’s all out in the open under the sun, basically a parking lot. My kids were struggling to swim in the yuck so I wasted $90 which was the same price I paid at the water park I took them to for the whole day. If I had have sen this happen to someone I would have offered a refund, they watched us drive in, unpack out day gear, pack up and drive out. I paid $90 to look at a campground.

Went camping here with our tent trailer over the weekend (it was like 40Celcius) and had a lovely time, the beach is fantastic and even has an inflatable play course (like on wipe out). The Beach is well maintained with a majority of the water segment cleared of weeds and rocks and such. The staff are energetic and very fun to talk with as well! Also note that the water is pretty warm compared to other lakes ive swam in too! Prices are fair and the camp sites are really nice. I'm definitely going to come back here at some point for more fun. P.s. we came during a weekend they did a Halloween event (yes in mid july) and a haunted house walk through, which was really well done! Thank you to all the staff who I'm sure we're wishing they were swimming at the beach during this heat wave haha.

“First Tent Experience” This is my first time at Pleasure Park RV Resort and my first time camping in a tent. Upon arrival, the staff are very friendly and understanding. They allowed us to enter the resort early & checkout the resort, even allowing us to set up minutes earlier. They bring a family friendly atmosphere to the camp and a tremendous amount of care for the campers and site maintenance. In regards to sites, there are RV/Portable Camper Sites available as well as a tent site area. The site we chose to stay at was great. We managed to setup our vehicle, tent and canopie. It also had a lot of decent shade provided by the trees surrounding the site. Our site included electricity with two free outlets & access to a water pipe safely placed beside. Some sites may not provide electricity outlets and water but are located relatively close to the bathrooms for water and electricity access. Just to note, these types of sites are optional. In regards to maintenance, the restrooms & showers are very clean & maintained. I’ve been to Trailer Parks & other Campsites, the bathrooms at this site have been the most maintained I’ve seen at a site. The staff will clean the restrooms & showers every morning and will refer to other available restrooms during the maintenance period upon request of the campers. The resort provides packages of ice, fire wood & snacks by a very affordable price from the front registration. They also distribute snacks & food at the beach area on Fridays-Sundays. The beach is clean, with great obstacles for kids, teenagers and adults to enjoy. I’ve had a blast wiping out on them as the kids run the whole course in front of me. I should note, the smaller fish at the beach will nibble on your hairs, scabs and toes, don’t worry it doesn’t hurt but it will be a ticklish startle if you are standing still in the water. Made a lot of funny memories from them doing that. Fishing at the beach of the resort features some good catches including large Sun Fish, Bass & Pikes. You can also take a canoe or boat out by the docks to further out the lake at the resort and probably get larger catches. This was my first time camping in a tent and I can say from my experience that it has been very memorable and fun at this resort with my family. This resort and the site we chose will be our go to every year. Thank you to the staff of pleasure park for your hard work, it does not go unnoticed! 👍

New seasonal campers this year after being transient for a few years. We couldn’t have found a better park !! The staff are amazing. There’s always something for the kids every weekend. The facilities are clean and in great shape. The showers are clean and hot. We made the best decision as a family coming here and we’re glad we did. We’ll be here for many more years to come.

Went on a weekend and is kid City during week dies down. This place is mostly seasonal. But that being said so many activities for the kids. Bathrooms are cleaned all the time. Staff works hard keeping everything running smoothly and are so friendly. I will for sure return.. Bring your fishing rod. So many fish. From sunfish/bass/pike/catfish. There's always someone fishing. Suggest if u have a small boat to bring.depth water not high.6-10 feet. At beach they clean out the seaweed/sand beach always cleaned and raked.

Very clean park. It's obvious that the owners take pride in it. Very quiet after 10pm, which never happens anywhere else. The kids had a blast with the water toys. We will definitely return.

Nice cramped spot. Fortunately we were with family so no biggie.
