The hosts were very gracious and took us in due to we were Dixie Fire evacuees. Lake water was low but I was still able to view many different water fowl. Had to leave due to ex essive smoke from the forest fire.

We had a horrible experience at Lone Rock. We reserved 9 camping spots here. Lone Rock and Antelope Lake are very special to my husband's family as his aunt used to take them as kids and she passed away last year unexpectedly. So his cousin came up from Vegas, we were in from Tennessee, and my sister in law made sure they brought their golf cart because I'm disabled and needed it to get from our campsite to the lake and we kept it on pavement the entire time. The camp hosts were extremely rude about the golf cart (they use golf carts themselves) and told them we couldn't use it in the campground. She then told my sister in law her hammock wasn't allowed. We counted 16 other campsites with hammocks, one right in front of the camp host site. 3 out of 5 children and one adult got swimmers itch from the lake. Needless to say it was just a horrible experience all around.

No swimming in this water unless you have a boat to get past the plants growing all around the lake. Other than that such a drive for so little.

Not the campgrounds fault but would be so much better if water was higher. Great spot though and we will be back with the family again

Whoever was managing this campground june 23 2021 is so unprofessional and just flat out evil. My husband and his two friends got stuck 15-20 miles away from this campground and they walked for hours and this was the first place they came across they asked to use a phone and the gal who works this campground said “ I have a satellite phone but that is only for emergencies” mean while my husband and his friends are about to die from dehydration and heat exhaustion. Thank GOD there was a forest ranger that let them use his phone to call me and a nice family gave them some water and food. Who knows what would have happened if they didn’t come across that ranger and family they probably would be dead. I wish I knew the gal’s name who didn’t let them use her phone but you know who you are and you are despicable!
