Great park with nice hikes. Only electric hook ups at Acorn Loop. The water spigots dotted around the loop were not working. Had to get water at the dish wash area next to the bathrooms.

Great campground. Bathrooms & showers kept fairly clean. Nice, quiet, and relaxing. Bonus not far from all the fun locations

Beautiful campground with tall trees and wooded sites. Some loops have electric but not water. Plenty of trails to hike and park roads to bicycle. There is a pool, a camp store, and the river to kayak on. The bathrooms are fine. One problem is the horseflies so bring bug spray! The park is pet friendly.

This is a large, no huge, state park with plenty to do. Hiking, boating with landing for your craft, camping, and store that has a rec room and snack shop that includes good ice cream.

Great little park close to home. Not too crowded, still a pretty quiet place to go disconnect and explore. I've done some fantastic fishing out here in the past too.

Stayed in cabin 200 at Shad Landing. The cabin was clean and it was a 2-room cabin with a ceiling fan and ac/heat. Being spring weather we had to use all 3 during our stay and that was much appreciated. Bathrooms were nearby and campsites/other cabins were spaced generously. It was really quiet and peaceful and we all had a wonderful stay.

My girlfriend and I went here last week on a nice afternoon. We were pleased with how many people seemed to know about this place. However, we were looking for a nice walk/hike and didn't find what we were looking for. We didn't spend a ton of time wandering around the park, rain was on the way. But it seemed like this place is great for people who like to fish or a great place for a picnic. Just not so great for hikes or walks. The campgrounds seemed well kept. However there didn't seem to be a lot of things to do, especially for children. Might go back to explore some more when the weather gets nicer but I was a little underwhelmed for my first visit.

A very nice experience of camping in Pocomoke River State Park Shad landing area. We stayed there for 2 nights and it was a peaceful and pleasant experience. Must visit places and to stay in cabins or tents, RVs. Most importantly thing is Assateague Island and Ocean City MD is nearby attractions to enjoy.

Love it here. Been visiting since 2021. Visited 3 times. Park is clean and well maintained. Clean bathrooms with hot water. They spray for bugs so biting bugs especially aren’t bad at all. Nice maintained hiking trails. Beautiful spacious campsites. Friendly accommodating staff who are always professional. Acorn trail is my favorite camping loop. This year we visited the nature center. It’s amazing. It’s worth the trip to the park! Very helpful guides at the nature center too.
