I don’t know which is more outstanding- the kindness and friendliness of the owners or the incredibly stunning views at Point Cross Beach RV park. You get gorgeous sunsets at night and the most magical sunrises over the surrounding rolling hills in the morning. It is THE most beautiful spot I’ve ever camped on. You fall asleep with the sound of the ocean waves just a few feet away- it’s so peaceful. The location is even better than staying right in the national park b/c it’s so close but you get the benefit of being close to restaurants in ‘town’ and also some of the craft/folk art shops, Aucoin bakery and the Gypsum Mine Quarry swimming hole. The owners went out of their way to help us with a small problem with our RV. Their kindness and friendliness was the icing on the cake! They already have amazing facilities here- and their hospitable nature makes it even more inviting! Thank you so much for having us, Point Cross Beach RV park!

Beautiful spot, right on the beach!! We watched the sunset and enjoyed the sound of the ocean waves all night long. It was a little windy but nothing that outweighed the pros of this site! Lisa at the front office was very sweet during check in and check out - had suggestions on places to see and eat in the area. Felt very welcomed.

We loved our stay at Point Cross Beach RV Park in Cape Breton! The views are incredible no matter where you’re parked, and the beach access is just a short walk away. The grounds are so well maintained—you can really see the love Lisa and Vic put into the place. They’re the kindest hosts and made us feel so welcome. We even fished their creek and caught a bunch of brook trout! Can’t wait to come back.

Where to begin, this place is like a piece of heaven to us. We stayed a week but was not long enough. Our site was perfect, the beach was amazing, Vic and Lisa were the perfect host to open this paradise to all who have the chance to experience a wonderful place to stay. Convenience all the way around, if you have a dog perfect place to let him run along the beach and play in the water. It felt like coming home after a day out on the cabot trail. Will we go back, most definitely. Thankyou Lisa and Vic for a most perfect stay. Ann & Serge

We visited last week as our first stop along the Cabot Trail. As we drove in we were a bit set back by the shipping containers used for site facilities but we were quickly greeted by Lisa who was super welcoming and gave us a tonne of information and tips. We got down to our beach site and situated and oh my, the view is gorgeous. If you get good weather, you won’t want to leave! Our site had sewer hookup and water close enough that we could connect that too - although many sites should plan on operating on their tanks of water and just filling as the hoses do cross vehicle traffic areas l, but not a huge deal. The water was great and the sunsets A1. Lisa and Vic checked on us throughout our stay and made sure we knew that if we got too hot without power that they could accommodate us moving. We avoided the bathrooms most of the time as they were described as portable toilets - on the last day we used them and were surprised to see how nice they were. They are fully plumbed in and quite nice. Not really a portable toilet. You can tell Lisa and Vic are working hard and making incremental improvements and adjustments as they grow. Keep up the work and thank you for such a nice stay!
