More privacy and longer hiking at the Pittsburgh camp, more modern and hiking closed at Hermitage. Both nice campgrounds.

I have read some bad reviews about this Campground and truthfully I cannot figure out why they were there. This is a beautiful campground. When I arrived on Friday the showers and restrooms were very clean by the time Saturday afternoon rolled around not so much. Of course I found that to be totally understandable as the campground had filled up and had quite a few families with young children. As I approached the bathroom a camper came out and warned me that it was quote "disgusting and the floor was soaking wet". I wouldn't have said it was disgusting I would have said it was messy and of course the floor was soaking wet this bathroom had a shower it was an all-in-one shower toilet facility with a drain in the middle of the floor that should give you your first clue. Anyway I had a very enjoyable time everyone was very nice and I enjoyed a great hike.

We love going as a family, great spot's, level and good mixture of trees and open spaces. Bathhouse is good and has always been clean. Highly recommend

Great camping with lots of trees and shade. However in 100 loop the trees do make parking hard, if not almost near impossible for larger campers due to trees along the both side of the spot entrance and edge of the road making it hard to turn the camper wide. The beach was close by and had picnic tables to use and not overly crowded. Overall a great place to camp.
