The best RV park in the area. Level, and spacious sites. Quiet and secluded.

Owner and staff are incredibly friendly. Nicest camp restroom facilities I’ve ever seen by far.

We stayed at Pomo recently with our 38' RV. Location is nice with a windy road there (the route we took). The Campground needs a good pruning. There is no way to get to your site without some trees and bushes scraping the sides and top. Also, the site was too narrow at the door so you were forced to walk into a bush. If you check in late, you will not have electrical hookup. We called ahead of time saying we would be late. Luckily, the manager was outside when we got there and he was able to come over and unlock the electrical. DO NOT drive over 5 mph in the campground. I did not pay attention to the posted speed limit and drove approximately 10 mph and got a thorough lecture, even though I apologized immediately when approached. I apologized several more times as the lecture continued. Speed limit noted! Overall, the campground was clean and very quiet, just a tight squeeze for a larger rig.

This one star rating requires some explanation. I am a lifelong good Sam member and specifically chose this Park because it has such good ratings on the good Sam website after arriving we were told (very rudely) that they are not a good Sam Park and would not honor Our membership discount. I did contact good Sam and this park is under obligation to continue to honor their good Sam discount through the 2024 annual calendar year. They are dropping the good Sam qualification in 2025. I would have to say otherwise the park is clean and well maintained, but the staff is way less than helpful and cooperative. Great location, easy to go and see all the things in the nearby Fort Bragg area. Unfortunate that the staff was misleading and unkind about it.

This is as nice as any campground we have stayed at. The overall layout is great and it seems like every individual site is really clean, secluded with the hookups easily accessible. The staff is very kind and helpful. The location is only about a mile from Fort Bragg and most of the campers head over there during the day. The biggest problem is finding a site with so many of them already booked. But we love the site we got and this place will be our first choice for impromptu visits to the coast.

With its clean bathrooms and showers and water that heated up in seconds, this place was a godsend while spending our days hiking and tidepooling in the region. We just did tent camping and the weekend we stayed, there were no other tent campers (and it meant I never ran into anyone in the bathroom either!) The RV sites were more popular, but everyone was very respectful and quiet. The most annoying thing about this campground is communication. Namely, getting through to even book a site. Our first night we were given a site that was supposed to be closed. It was a bit of a mishap as we had to pack up early but we were given money back so no harm, no foul. The second night we just chose an empty site when we arrived that evening and paid in the morning. Note they also don’t take credit cards.

We really liked this park and will definitely come back. Very nice, private sites. Many with full hook- ups. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Very nearly gave 5 stars. I removed one because it is a little hard to book and pay for your site. They only take cash or check.

If you are looking for a wonderful place to set up camp for an adventure week on the coast, don'tlookany further. The owners and the staff are all so kind and helpful people, they make it feel like our home away from home. The grounds are well maintained and facilities were very clean each time we've been there. The mini store had a nice selection of things that we forgot at home. We would recommend it above anyway else in the area.

This is a campground we will revisit. The service was great, the park was large and open and the spaces were very spacious. Utilities worked great. We forgot to book a sewer site but the dump station was very easy to get to and use. Internet was good. We walked the campsite and were impressed with the group sites, the tent sites and how clean they keep the park. It is right next to the beaches and is just a great place to stay. We always read reviews and were surprised at some of the comments. Yes, the park is older, but the age does nothing to detract from the stay. Our site, and many places in the park had blackberries and we at a lot of them. Great places to walk the dog and there are a lot of dog owners at the park.

Very nice & quite, with grassy areas available for family activities, easy access.
