Had the best few days there with family and friends. We loved our cabins and the seasonal campers, as usual, were so welcoming. It was my 3rd time there and it will not be the last. Thanks Jen and Mike for everything.

Ponderosa Pines Family Campground is a charming, rustic spot that gave me all the nostalgic ’90s campground vibes, in the best way! It’s cozy, peaceful, and has that laid back atmosphere you don’t find in bigger, modern resorts. We stayed in one of the cabins and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was for our family of 7. The loft was a huge hit with the kids! While the sites are on the smaller side, we never felt cramped, and the layout still felt comfortable and family-friendly. The pool was clean and refreshing, a great way to cool off during the day. The little on site store itself was convenient, and the real star? Their friendly resident cat who loves attention and happily greets everyone who stops by! My kids wanted to keep going back to the store to pet her! If you’re looking for a simple, relaxed camping experience with a bit of old-school charm, Ponderosa Pines fits the bill. We’ll definitely stay again when we’re in the neighborhood.

This used to be a great campground. Then they upped prices, decided if you want a friend to stop by your campsite for an hour you have to pay additional (and not just $5/person like most places), and above all that there is no dump station for RVs anymore. Sure the hole is still there but when asked they told us most people are going down to other campgrounds to dump because they have no way of fully dumping since there's no hose. We had to drive down to Keen Lake to dump and use their actual dump station that has what you need to do it right. PP is absolutely disgusting that they don't have this option. How can they raise the price and lower the service? Ridiculous, we won't be coming back.

Both owners were helpful and nice. We booked a site that wasn't good for tent camping and they were able to help us rebook to a lake front tent site. The pond was perfect for fishing! We had a blast

We just came back from Ponderosa Pine's Halloween Weekend. This is an old school, clean, amazing family campground. My family has spent the last two seasons here and we have loved everything about it. The pool is immaculate, the miniature golf is fun, and the weekend activities are great for kids without being overpriced. The owners are some of the nicest people, and the other seasonal campers are great too! We cannot wait to come back next year, especially for the Independence Day Celebration.
