Staff is amazing, so friendly and helpful. We rode our bikes on the North Shore trail which starts just a short distance from the campground. The beach was awesome, again very close. Stayed in a transient site for 1 night. We will definitely be back. Port Elgin residents should be proud of their piece of paradise. Thanks for sharing. We are 2 seniors cruising Ontario in our RV.

Since I was maybe aged 6 my grandparents Joyce/Bruce Leadbetter use to always bring me up to there trailer was which is now my parents trailer has always been my most favourite place to go in the whole wide world. Going swimming, campfires and when I was younger heading down to the beach to get ice cream and ride the train.. I actually cried when they stopped running the train cuz I wanted to at lease ride it one time as a adult with my own kids cause when I was a kid only got to go on it once or twice I don’t remember.. I have my own 6 children each one has had the opportunity to go up with my parents but man I wish I drove and knew how to get up there without getting lost so we would be able to go with all my kids (some have learning disability’s/autism. So staying put is difficult and well I’m not a octopus nor a athlete to be running all over the park looking for each one) I swear sometimes it’s like there ears are painted on lol
