I've camped here before (motorcycle travel / tent). I won't again. I checked a couple weeks beforehand, was assured that the rest rooms and showers would be open. Sept. 20 - I pulled in, in the late afternoon... rest rooms were locked with signs taped on the doors: USE THE PORTA-POTTY OUT BACK. Even the water fountains on the side were shut off... I hope the water out of the hose by the boat ramp was "potable." As for the porta-potty - it looked like was a week or two past the "service date"... AWFUL! And just cardboard tubes where the toilet paper once lived. I'm not fussy - when you're traveling by motorcycle, comfort and luxury can be elusive. But this was a total disappointment. And not many nearby camping alternatives, a half-hour before the sun goes down. This place might be all right in a trailer or motorhome... I'll look elsewhere on my next motorcycle trip.

Great location friendly people. Didn’t mind the noise from train or highway. Only $35, excellent WiFi . Only problem was site was narrow for slides on both sides. Great food in the small town!
